The overall design and comfort level align well with premium expectations. Culinary performance is equally strong. Breakfast delivers both variety and quality, setting a solid tone for the day. The Zibu restaurant offers a refined dining experience with well-executed dishes, while the new bar concept adds a modern and vibrant touch to the hotel’s F&B offering. Service remains a core strength. The team operates with a high degree of professionalism, attentiveness, and consistency, reinforcing a seamless guest experience throughout the stay. I want to specially thank: Lluvia Brandon Ignacio Alberto Amor Alejandra Ernesto It was specially nice to meet Amor and Alberto again during our 4th stay within in five years! The spa is another standout feature. The facilities are well-maintained, and the massage treatments are of exceptional quality, contributing significantly to the overall relaxation and wellness aspect of the visit. My stay at Live Aqua San Miguel de Allende was nothing short of exceptional — truly one of the most impeccable service experiences I’ve had. From the moment you arrive, you feel the warmth of the team. The level of attention to detail across the entire property is remarkable — every interaction feels genuine, thoughtful, and effortless. A very special thank you to Amor, Alberto, and Joel, who made our stay even more memorable with their care and dedication. The rooms are superb. I had the opportunity to experience the Aqua Suite, and it is simply breathtaking — a spacious layout paired with a huge private terrace and jacuzzi, offering a perfect setting to unwind and enjoy San Miguel’s atmosphere. It’s one of those spaces that makes you want to slow down and stay longer. What truly stands out is the combination of service and gastronomy. The food quality is outstanding throughout the hotel: • Dinner at Zibu Restaurant is a must • And absolutely do not skip the Dominican Brunch — it’s a full experience, vibrant and indulgent, and one of the highlights of the stay. The property itself is stunning — elegant, modern, and thoughtfully designed, making it an ideal setting for weddings, birthday celebrations, or special occasions. It balances luxury with a welcoming atmosphere, which is not easy to achieve. Another great plus: • Kids Club available, making it family-friendly • Pet-friendly, which adds flexibility for travelers And for a more elevated evening, cocktails at Bekeb Bar are simply next level — creative, bold, and unforgettable. “Nice stay”

I reserved three rooms through my Amex platinum card for myself and three others. One room was shared with two double beds, one was the viento suite and the other was one with a private hot tub and access to the cabanas that are only available to some rooms. I reserved three rooms through my Amex platinum card for myself and three others. One room was shared with two double beds, one was the viento suite and the other was one with a private hot tub and access to the cabanas that are only available to some rooms. I liked how the room with double beds had a curtain to the glass bathroom, you could have privacy from the other person staying in the room. The other two did not. I personally had the viento suite. Very spacious, I like having a sitting area. I was traveling with my cousins and the other cousin who wanted their own room as well had the private hot tub room. This was great as you could adjust the temp of the jacuzzi to make it more cool on a warm day. The tub can only accommodate two just FYI. We also loved that this provided us access to the designated cabana areas as the other ones were taken by the afternoon when we would visit the pool. We loved the breakfast options including the buffet. We only ate at one other restaurant on property, I believe it’s called spice market, it was good and staff at both restaurants were very nice and accommodating. We also ordered food and drinks by the pool, the rib eye tacos were amazing. The other food was nice too but those were hands down the best ribeye tacos I’ve had. The pool wait staff was very kind too. The reasons I took one star off… While I loved my room, I happened to be there an evening of a wedding one of the nights. I did not feel comfortable having my awesome large window curtains open with guests being able to see me move about my room. I did not know they hosted weddings (my fault for not checking) but disappointed that my room was right next to it. The pool music is too much. I just want to relax, not a techno fan. I would prefer no music or very minimal, not blasting like I’m at a beach club on spring break in my teens or twenties. Also the pool closes at 8pm, which I think is very early. In the morning of my final day I went to the lobby to let them know I would like the 4pm checkout (this is guaranteed when booking through Amex platinum). I sat down and the woman asked how she could assist and I said I would like to check out of my rooms at 4 and before I could finish my sentence she said that she could not accommodate. I waited until she was done telling me that they were full, etc then explained I had 4pm guarantee and she said yes of course then. Not a huge deal but in the past the hotel will usually reach out and ask if I would like to utilize that or ask for room number if I request and see that it is guaranteed. Just a little service thing that could be improved. I did not park on property or use the spa there, so no info on that. If I was to go again, I would look into if they had a suite with the private hot tub/cabana access. Some rooms looked like they were lower like they did not have a view besides if their own private pool area, not sure how I would feel about that without full natural lighting being able to get into the room though.
