“Awesome Place!”

Couldn't ask for anything more from a hotel. The breakfast was particularly wonderful. There was a full menu and a waiter kept coming back to see if we wanted more! The building itself looked like it was either new or newly renovated.

“Surprisingly nice stay”

We drove up late at night and thought we had made a mistake. Hotel is on a busy street, and very simple from the outside and inside. We drove up late at night and thought we had made a mistake. Hotel is on a busy street, and very simple from the outside and inside. The hotel's website offered king or queen beds in the luxury rooms (about $50/night) and we had requested a queen, but manager on duty didn't speak English and with some translation couldn't find us a queen. Since it was late, we stayed anyway. In the morning, we learned from the manager of the hotel, who did speak English, that the hotel website must have a mistake. They only have kings in nicer rooms, and double beds in some of the smaller rooms. But bed was very comfortable, the room was large with windows on two walls, and nicely appointed. Full amenities in the bathroom. Breakfast was the biggest surprise; excellent presentation and very tasty. Many choices on the menu and all made to order in an open kitchen, so you can request adjustments. All come with yogurt, granola and fruit. I was so impressed that I thought I took a picture, but can't find it. Manager was very helpful suggesting several Magical Towns to visit and tried to find us a rock climbing guide in the El Chico National Park. Unfortunately, due to language issues, we did climb, but not quite what we had in mind. Turns out the guide we met was associated with a Via Ferrata facility, H-GO. Having never done via ferrata, we decided to do it anyway and had a blast. So it was well worth it, and beautiful, but just not what we had in mind. We booked hotel hoping to be able to walk to the historic part of town but it was a bit too far and not as nice a walk as we expected. So we drove instead. But driving was fairly easy and parking downtown was easy to find, and inexpensive. Parking at the hotel was right in front of the main entrance and free, so car was safe. In the end, the HK ended up being a fine choice in Pachuca if you want to explore the city, or the beautiful country around it.

Hotel is right priced. Rooms are large enough and well equipped. The lady in the lobby, Mildred, helped us in our request. Very good quality beds and fantastic pillows. Hotel is right priced. Rooms are large enough and well equipped. The lady in the lobby, Mildred, helped us in our request. Very good quality beds and fantastic pillows. Internet fast and the shower just incredible. The can improve in the variety of the breakfast, which is included (fantastic), otherwise just great enough. This will be my favorite hotel while in Pachuca.
