My family and I spent one night at City Express, I myself wasn't too disappointed due to the fact that I'm not too picky when it comes to comfort. My wife and my daughter on the other hand had a rough night. Before going to bed, my wife took a shower with nothing but cold water. We made pillows with the rough blankets provided by the hotel wrapped with bed sheets since the pillows where too bulky and hard for our liking. The beds are pretty firm, which in my case was ok since i sleep better on firm mattresses. My wife and daughter had a hard time staying asleep. It was nice having a some-what developed mall close by to pass the time. The theater inside the mall is nice for people who stay longer and the restaurant in front of the hotel is definitely a great place to eat. Overall, the personnel where friendly and helpful, it was an ok stay. Definitely glad i stayed away from the center of the city where all the noise is.

The hotel does not give a senior discount or a CAA (AAA) reduction.We found this to be at odds with other hotel chains in both Mexico and the USA.The room itself was clean and without any foul odours.The beds were firm but this is common throughout Mexico.As the hotel is set back from the highway,w… lisää

The hotel does not give a senior discount or a CAA (AAA) reduction.We found this to be at odds with other hotel chains in both Mexico and the USA.The room itself was clean and without any foul odours.The beds were firm but this is common throughout Mexico.As the hotel is set back from the highway,we did not experience any traffic noise.As stated by a previous poster,the restaurant(Cristo?) opposite the entrance to the hotel is very good.The service was excellent as was the lamb.The continental breakfast at the hotel was actually quite good with offerings of fresh fruit/yogurt/cold meats/rolls/etc. and cottage cheese.The coffee was excellent.

There aren't many hotel choices in the city of Tepatitlan, Jalisco, but if you're in the area and book this hotel, be prepared to encounter some of the firmest mattresses ever....my husband and I stayed there for a couple nights from June 1 - June 3 and we couldn't wait to leave...our backs couldn… lisää

There aren't many hotel choices in the city of Tepatitlan, Jalisco, but if you're in the area and book this hotel, be prepared to encounter some of the firmest mattresses ever....my husband and I stayed there for a couple nights from June 1 - June 3 and we couldn't wait to leave...our backs couldn't handle the hard mattress :( aside from that the hotel itself is very clean and offers a basic continental breakfast. One good thing is that it's located next to a delicious restaurant that offers some of the VERY BEST Mexican food I've ever tasted! There is also a small casino located next to it, don't expect Las Vegas...just a few slot machines :)
