Wow, what an amazing place to stay, the rooms are clean and well stocked with anything you need, the staff are outstanding, nothing is too much trouble, they have very helpful advice if you are visiting ruins, worth asking them any questions you have, the breakfast is delicious, plenty of fruit and breads and eggs, the Papaya jam is homemade and incredible, then of course the cocktails, try the watermelon margarita 😍

Best choice in Mexico ! First of all, Mr. Velasquez share with all the staff values of sharing, enjoying, and respect. The service is great, and we highly recommand the 4x4 tour with Victor. This tour offers an overview of the site which is incredible...and mont important a bit of sharing of the maya culture, a very precious moment of exchange. Bottom line : the hotel is in the site of Uxmal, you just have to cross the street to be at the entrance of the temple. Strategic position to go to the show at night... YOM BOTIC !

We stayed at the Lodge in the suite that had a loft and jacuzzi. The hotel provides a true Mayan experience and the restaurant food was delicious. The site is close to the archeological Uxmal site of which you can walk there. I suggest to work with Luis also known as Rex who provided a great experience on out vintage Land Rover tour which drove through the plantation where all the food at the lodge is prepared from as well as history of the Mayan culture, Uxmal and the people who previously lived there. Luis also was excellent for our Mayan breakfast of which you can get a private authentic Mayan breakfast made right in front of you. I highly suggest working with Luis also known as Rex as he will ensure that you have a great experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Lodge at Uxmal! The rooms are very spacious, equipped with a large bathroom, TV, and refrigerator, making them perfect for a short stay of 1-2 nights to explore Uxmal and its surroundings. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Lodge at Uxmal! The rooms are very spacious, equipped with a large bathroom, TV, and refrigerator, making them perfect for a short stay of 1-2 nights to explore Uxmal and its surroundings. The cleanliness was decent, though could have been better. The staff were friendly and helpful, which enhanced our experience greatly. Breakfast was good and provided a solid start to our day of exploration. One of the highlights was the convenient walking distance to the Uxmal archaeological site, which was a significant plus. The property features two large pools, which were nearly empty during our visit, creating a relaxed atmosphere. However, for longer stays or to explore beyond Uxmal, having a car is advisable as transportation options are limited. Overall, our stay at The Lodge at Uxmal was pleasant and recommended for travelers looking to experience the beauty of Uxmal at a leisurely pace.
