I travel to Chetumal a lot to visit family but needed a base to stay. I have tried many hotels in the city in the budget range as well as some more expensive ones and none give the same value for money as this hotel does, due to this I only ever book this hotel now. I travel to Chetumal a lot to visit family but needed a base to stay. I have tried many hotels in the city in the budget range as well as some more expensive ones and none give the same value for money as this hotel does, due to this I only ever book this hotel now. Some of the rooms have been referbished recently and some of them are in a little need of TLC however the all of them have an amazing view of the Chetumal Lagoon and the hotel is very close to the marina and just infront of the ferry port if you are looking to travel over to the islands of Belize.

“The location makes it”

The room is nothing special, it doesn't even have a fridge, and it's very tight for four people to share a room. But the location is terrific, if you get one with a water view, that's the way to do it.

Booked 2 rooms for 2 nights. Check-in was easy, even though staff spoke limited English. Hotel is very clean. Rooms are very clean featuring shiny tile floors. Booked 2 rooms for 2 nights. Check-in was easy, even though staff spoke limited English. Hotel is very clean. Rooms are very clean featuring shiny tile floors. Room is adequate size although there isn't a desk to use. Sliding doors overlook the bay just across Bahia Blvd. They have an adequate parking lot in back of the hotel. Swimming pool available in central courtyard. In January, was just a little too cool for enjoyment. View of bay out front side amazing. You can see the lights of Belize at night! Beds are comfortable. Rooms are air conditioned. Bathroom has walk-in shower. Shampoo and soap provided. Note: Mexican hotels don't offer face clothes, but bath towels were adequate. Here are some unexpected bonuses: 1) #2 ranked restaurant (Almina) located just off the front hotel entrance. Ate their twice, food was excellent. Bahia Blvd is a long waterfront road with walking sidewalk next to the bay. 2 Al Macheon is short walk. 3 The manatee viewing area if farther up the boulevard, but we didn't go since last reportings of a manatee are dated. The Mayan Cultural Museum is about 10-12 blocks away. Taxis are everywhere, we had a car rented. I liked to hotel enough to definitely return if I come back to Chetumal. Rooms in January were slightly more the $40 per night (a bargain).

My wife and I stayed at Hotel Noor in one of their king size bedrooms. We walked in and book our room and service was ok. We were able to immediately go to our room even before check-in time and that was great. The room was clean and good. The AV was turned on and while I was talking a shower the l… lisää

My wife and I stayed at Hotel Noor in one of their king size bedrooms. We walked in and book our room and service was ok. We were able to immediately go to our room even before check-in time and that was great. The room was clean and good. The AV was turned on and while I was talking a shower the lights in the room and bathroom started to go dim and bright back and forth. 5 minutes later the AC malfunctioned and I went to report. It took the Hotel about 45 minutes before we were changed from our room to another room and got upgraded to a junior sweet room. We stayed the night and everything worked out perfect and was able to check out late. Overall the Hotel Noor is a nice place to stay.
