Gorgeous property on Lake Bacalar!! Beautiful rooms and two lovely pools overlooking the lake. Delicious food at the restaurant that also overlooks the lake. All of the staff were outstanding! Parking is included directly across from the hotel. This was our first time to Lake Bacalar and we will definitely stay here on our next visit. Plenty of lounge chairs at the pools and on the docks so you don’t have to worry about getting up early to get a chair. We enjoyed breakfast out on the dock and then took out the paddle board and swam for a while. It was fabulous!

Hotel has a charm that is difficult to match! We stayed just a couple of nights but the hotel made us feel like Bacalar is home. Staff goes above and beyond for any and all requests. Welcome towel, water and treats are a very nice touch. Rooms are specious, well stocked with all amenities. The highlight of this hotel is the outside area- it is simply perfect to enjoy what Bacalar offers! Calm but warm water. Dock to relax and tan on. Fully operational restaurant onsite with amazing meals prepared for each guest. Rooms with balcony are just perfect to sit and enjoy the noise birds bring to the area. Wonderful all around! If we are ever back again to the area …we would come back in a heart beat! To all staff, Mil Gracias! 🙏

“The best service in Mexico”

We literally loved this hotel, it’s not luxury but it is everything you need, amazing position, clean large rooms but most of all the incredible staff especially Jess and the other fabulous girls at the front desk. If a hotel is about service this is 5 Star

The place is top notch, at least for Bacalar. It might as well have the best facilities in town: Clean, updated, properly functioning. The restaurant is very good, and may I say that you can confidently order from the ample menu without a fear of receiving something too spicy: They seem to know their clientele very well. Staff at the restaurant is very courteous. And the views, oh… the restaurant has superb views of the lagoon. On the other hand, some of the staff at the front desk surely make the experience not that good: Lots (and I mean lots) of admonitions, like “Here are the hotel rules; if you break any, there will be penalties”, a list of prices for “misplaced” items, a warning that you must call for your room-service tray when you are done, a fee of about USD25 for a lost key (come on, that plastic is 50 cents!), and so on. They even inspect your room so that you do not throw toilet paper into the toilet. I get it they may have had some unruly customers, but every place has had its share, and do not treat all customers like potential hooligans. They take it too far: My wife booked a hairdo from a third party to be done at this hotel, and the front desk staff did not let the hairdresser in. Zero stars in this regard. It was supposed to have an spa, but it was “not working at the moment”. What if that was the reason I booked? If that is important for you, call before booking.
