Air conditioner works great, too. Summer in Hermosillo and that's all that really matters. Obsessed with cleanliness, they seem to mop the staircases and halls every three hours or so. Roaches don't stand a chance. A relatively old hotel in a prosperous downtown area alive with new construction of government buildings around old stately plazas. Every bus in town stops in front of the San Alberto, great if you don't have a car and are too cheap for taxis. Decent swimming pool, but packed with screaming kids.

After pagando un taxista 3 dolares para llevar me al Hotel, San Alberto, I found it. Carrumba. Que Miliagro. The security guy told me to hit the ramp hard and ride the moto right into the hotel lobby. "Que dijo usted?" I asked. "Que monte tu moto y put in in there. Mas seguro." "If you say so", I said. And I did it. I turned off the motor halfway down the hallway. That's just the kind of guy I am. Don't want to be an ugly American. I parked Max the moto in the lobby and there he stayed for dos dias sin molestar. Not one problema. Gracias a Dios. The next morning, my wife brought me complimentary coffee from the downstairs. Pretty good I'd say. I've got freeTang as well. My wife chose the hotel because of its proximity to the University of Sonora y por la piscina. It's not the fault of the hotel that the water was demasiado frio. Don't know what me esposa estaba pensando. Bueno. It is a lovely pool, though, and I would like to swim in at some point in the warmer future. Another plus: You have to turn in the key when you sale del hotel. I like that because then there is no problem losing the key. Also, they got a groovy vending machine that takes Mexican feria. I love that. It even gives change. A little trouble with the remote was one problem. But it kept the TV on Animal Planet and that made my daughter happy. It made me happy because it was in Spanish y quiero mucho que hable espanol. Bueno, que mas? O yeah, I played guitar at the poolside and nobody asked me not to. Thanks HA staff for that. I was in my own zona libre and I agredezco eso mucho. When I left el hotel, I decided not to motor out, but walked my dual sport. Didn't want to push my luck. I'll never forget riding up the blue handicapped ramp, and driving right past the sofas and front desk. Que aventura! Gracias mil Hotel San Alberto. Say Golden. Stay yourself. Keep the coffee hot and the pool blue. See you soon. Nos Vemos Pronto!

“Loud or silent”

Location, Service, Room-Convenience, Air Condition, a nice pool-area - every thing is ok. But .... , never choose a room to the street. You probably won't get much sleep. Breakfast is also included, but you will find a better choice outside.

I choose this hotel because i was there two or three times before when I was passing by the city on a vacation trips. The room was average($35 US Dollars/night), two nice and clean queen size beds, rustic furniture, TV set, had a swimming pool; my room had a view to the street which was a little no… lisää

I choose this hotel because i was there two or three times before when I was passing by the city on a vacation trips. The room was average($35 US Dollars/night), two nice and clean queen size beds, rustic furniture, TV set, had a swimming pool; my room had a view to the street which was a little noisy especially after 7 a.m. when you can hear the public transportation and many other vehicles passing by. You can sighseeing around the downtown where you can know old buildings and "La Catedral". Coffee shops and restaurants for all tastes and budgets are around and near the hotel area, even you can find an art museum at a walking distance; the U.S. Consulate is one block away. The front desk people was very kind and helpful and had a very quick and efficient service too.
