“Very special place to stay”
We had a truly wonderful visit at this hotel and it was a delightful experience. We had a nice, clean room that backed up to a jungle and we were awakened with tropical birdsong each morning and fire flies at night. “Nice and quiet.”
Beautiful place to stay. Super quiet. The food is great and the papaya jelly you are given in the restaurant is delicious. The room comes with air condition and small refrigerator and a huge tv with English channels.

“The garden”
Beautiful garden. The rooms are like stepping into the nineteen sixties. They keep the same decoration and furniture as when ti was originally builded. Breakfast at the posada is spectacular. “This is paradise!!”
I am sitting outside my bungalow at Posada Loma in our sixth day here in Fortín and can say without a doubt this is my favorite of all the hotels I have been to in Mexico. “Beautiful but sterile”
It is gorgeous, but expensive and far from restaurants and amenities - and its restaurant onLy serves breakfast. If you don't mind paying twice the local rate and staying in a manicured bungalow, you may like it more than I do.
