“Old school in the best way”
I’ve stayed here a few times and I’m always happy. When I say it’s ‘old school’ I mean that it is solid with quality fittings and good design. Not all bling. Of course it’s also bit dated but I can live with that.

“Business style hotel”
The hotel is more known as Girassol, which makes things a bit confusing. It looks like a business hotel, and is one of the few options in Nampula town. “All you need, but not much more”
Our time here was brief, and the staff were helpful and friendly. It is a great location, and the rooms are tidy. It is fairly basic, certainly not flash. But if you are not planning on lounging in your room, it is all you will need.

The hotel looks a bit worn, especially compared with the nearby sparkling new Grand Plaza. Its one advantage is the restaurante, which serves alcohol, unlike the Grand Plaza.
