“Great location, clean, good atmosphere”
Great location, clean, and good atmosphere. We had the pleasure of staying at this hotel last summer, and we were positively suprised by the high standard, given the price level. I would recommend this place to anyone.

“Superb room! Old 19:th century style.”
Near bus station and train. Connections to Oslo and Göteborg. Lovely park and strolling street nearby, small town aura. Charming. Friendly people, No language problems for Scandinavians. Fortress on hill.

“Grand hotel ish”
It is a very old hotel with some great paintings hung about the place (I loved the attic fighting soldiers in the restaurant). The beds are the usual Scandinavian thin mattress style, the room itself is big enough and the shower was great. You do get some noise from the nearby train station but it … lisää
