This hotel is a dream - newly made, well maintained, and with the most stunning landscape views. We stayed here for 4 nights and have absolutely no suggestions for improvements. The property location, maintenance, amenities, service, and F&B were all impeccable. If you book one of the chalets, you get access to their spa which includes an indoor, temperature-controlled pool and jacuzzi. We had the most relaxing holiday and a special shout out to the wonderful staff members on the front desk, the restaurants, and the kids area who made our stay even more special.

“Very good hotel!”

We did our research on Jabal Akhdar hotels prior to travelling and Anantara and Alila get all the rave reviews, but we decided to try the one year old hotel as we are part of the IHG family. We did our research on Jabal Akhdar hotels prior to travelling and Anantara and Alila get all the rave reviews, but we decided to try the one year old hotel as we are part of the IHG family. Well it did not disappoint! the rooms are exceptional with views to match. Food was also varied and tasty. Highly recommend. The jewel of the crown is the location - love it. If I had a less positive point - it would be that the inside restaurants inside are so big and when the hotel is not full they lack atmosphere. For us it was too cold to eat outside, but great for drinks, so the second night we ate in our room and therefore had to pay a lot more. Service like all new hotels was still at the "eager" to serve and take your order instead of "reading the room" and approaches us at the appropriate moment - what I mean is you are taking your first bite of fruit salad and they are trying to rush you to order - this will change over time I am sure. Overall an amazing location and hotel.

AMAZING! I can’t recommend this hotel enough. Stayed in chalet room 105 which had a spectacular balcony view, perfect for watching sunsets/sunrise. Special shout out to Nasser who was so helpful. My friend’s luggage was delayed and finally arrived into the Muscat airport 3 days into our trip. … lisää

AMAZING! I can’t recommend this hotel enough. Stayed in chalet room 105 which had a spectacular balcony view, perfect for watching sunsets/sunrise. Special shout out to Nasser who was so helpful. My friend’s luggage was delayed and finally arrived into the Muscat airport 3 days into our trip. He not only called to confirm that the bag was there, but arranged to have a driver pick it up at the airport and deliver it to the hotel at no cost. That alone made our experience so much better! All the staff at the hotel and spa were spectacular. My masseuse Desi was so gracious and I thoroughly enjoyed my massage. We loved the spa experience. Cocktails and food at the rooftop Vue bar and restaurant were great. The breakfast buffet was delicious with tons of choices. We LOVED this hotel and found it to be a highlight of our trip. Easily one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had.
