“Tranquility, comfort and service at a very reasonable price”

This is the fourth year in a row we come to this hotel for a lengthy stay. It is absolutely perfect for our needs. We like the quiet surroundings, the unobtrusive service, the powerful air conditioning, the reliable wi-fi, the extremely ample, well lit rooms, the comfortable beds, and the cleanliness and the smiles all around. Last but not least, the breakfast buffet offers plenty of Paraguayan fruits, yogurt, fruit juices, cereals, rolls and pastries. Eggs to your specifications will be cooked to order if not available with the buffet. There is free parking and free luggage storage, as well as a pool and a gym. If I have not reviewed this hotel sooner, it was only out of pure selfishness ... mea culpa, I hated the thought of mobs descending here! The hotel is located in an affluent, largely residential neighborhood where your personal safety is assured. It has everything you might possibly need during your stay. A very good supermarket is about 5 blocks away, beauty parlor, pharmacy, plenty of places to eat or buy carry-out prepared food, and a big shopping center (Shopping Mariscal) within walking distance. A well-known medical center is also within walking distance (I had occasion to test their emergency room one year so I can vouch for it). The rooms are HUGE. Most of them are apartments, really, consisting of a living room with kitchen, separate bedroom and bathroom. Many of them have terraces, which can be enjoyed practically year-round in the mild climate of Paraguay. The rooms with terrace cost a bit more, but they are worth it. There are two sections, an older section, more traditional, and a newer section that has communicating rooms (ideal for families or groups). The older section offers perhaps more privacy because there are no communicating doors between rooms. The services are exactly the same in both sections. The hotel is attractively decorated throughout with artisan crafts, such as clay figures, woven indigenous tapestries, etc. As to the service, I just cannot say enough good things. They are most welcoming, accommodating and helpful. The rates are extremely advantageous for the location, the services and the size of the apartments. Special rates for long-term stays are available. An excellent value for the money!

This apart hotel was a discovery that made our rather necessary and business filled trip to Asuncion, Paraguay an unforgettable experience. Knowledgeable staff, genuinely attentive, extremely accommodating and absolutely unintrusive made us feel VIP even when we paid just the "economy" fare. We travelled with 2 young kids and this has been the most children friendly hotel ever. They were very understanding of what a forced travel with children means, since we had to go there to fix very uncomfortable issues with my diseased Mother and did not have anyone to leave them with. Now we are looking forward to the next time we will go back there.
