I stayed 5 nights in this nice hotel. My room was clean and comfortable. There was a flat TV and cable- mostly Spanish. WiFi reception was free and not problematic. The staff were all helpful and nice to me. I had forwarded some extra mails to the reception and they were really nice printing them for me. The hotel is like a small museum with many interesting items in the food court. Inside there is a tropical courtyard. The fitness center is also located there. I have not been there. Breakfast: fresh fruits (watermelon melon papaya bananas pineapple grapes dried prunes etc) cereal and fruit flavored yogurt. Fresh bread with toasting machine available. Some paraguay pastries. Fried eggs. Stir fried potatoes with onions. Good coffee. Tasty fruit juices, probably from concentrate but still good. They had an apple jelly the first two mornings but then turned to strawberries. Still OK.

I regularly stay in this hotel for work purposes due to its central location and closeness to the airport. I regularly stay in this hotel for work purposes due to its central location and closeness to the airport. Once you get to know the area there are some really good restaurants which are incredibly cheap! Hotel staff are always friendly but if you don't speak Spanish you will have problems! Rooms are always clean and there has been recent work to update the flooring and showers in some rooms. Don't expect to do much sunbathing if you get the opportunity.... the pool is surrounded by trees blocking the sun! if anything this is my biggest annoyance about the hotel. For Paraguay this hotel is very good, i've stayed in much worse. Breakfast is basic but plentiful like wise lunch and dinner are always pleasant. Although it may take a while for food, im guessing this is due to it being prepared fresh. I would recommend this hotel.

I had booked the Paramanta hotel - online on their website - and as I did not get any confirmation, I called them. The receptionist could not find my online reservation so I gave him all details incl. credit card, confirmed my booking details and informed my estimated arrival time at aprox. 3am in the morning. When I finally arrived at around 5am due to a delayed flight, they had given my hotel room to another guest and put me in the "Candlewood Suites" which is a one minute walk. These are fully furnished appartments, lots of space - and ideal to accomodate larger families or people who stay for a longer period. The appartments are clean and functional; decent WIFI. Breakfast was served in the Paramanta hotel. I was offered to move to the hotel after the first night - which I didn´t like, as I was staying for two nights only. For the inconveniences, I received a small discount at the enf of my stay. I hope they get their website with online booking fixed/organized soon; and provide some training to their staff at the front desk. Confirming a booking on the phone and providing all credit card information should really be enough to GET WHAT YOU ORDER. Other than that: an economic and spacious clean accomodation.

My wife is from Paraguay so we travel very often to Asuncion, I have stayed in this hotel four or five times, nevertheless this last time for some reason we decided to ask for breakfast in our rooms two days out of a total of four that we stayed there. To my surprise when I went to checkout, the cost of these two breakfasts was the same as the price of one room for one night. This is extremely high considering how basic the breakfast was, some jam, toasts and coffee. It is actually ridiculously high, also the price of the breakfast was nowhere to be found in the room. Furthermore, considering the average cost of food in Paraguay this is simply an abusive cost for a very basic and meager breakfast. The rest of the hotel is good, good location, nice rooms etc. Nevertheless I found this cost shocking and absolutely unjustified. I admit it was foolish not to ask the price beforehand, nevertheless costs of food in Paraguay are generally very low, thus I was not afraid of being so overcharged as I was. I now use another hotel for our family trips, you are better ff looking for anotherone.
