I had a fantastic stay at Villa Urubamba! This gated property offers a serene and beautifully landscaped environment, making it the perfect place to relax. The tea stations throughout the property were a lovely touch, adding to the overall peaceful atmosphere. The rooms were spacious and the beds incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. The staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, making the experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the Sacred Valley! Say “hola” to German is wonderful waiter. He is friendly and always greets us with a smile and a friendly greeting. He also makes the best Pisco Sour! Thanks German you made our stay at the hotel special!

“Not sure about this place”

When we turned off the main road onto a dirt road we all held our breath! Behind a large gate we found the cutest hotel with nice little rooms. When we turned off the main road onto a dirt road we all held our breath! Behind a large gate we found the cutest hotel with nice little rooms. We had dinner at the restaurant there - it did not have many choices nearby so it was great, the place was nice. They even had a musician playing Peruvian music. We tried the alpaca, friends had fish and pasta. The pasta was outstanding - vegetarian lasagna! The lounge area did have tea with a space to play card games into the evening with the sun setting and beautiful surroundings. The staff was well hidden and in fact hard to find. Our room was on the second floor with a great skylight. When we ran out of toilet paper we had to go on a major search to find someone to help. The second day we were there most of the group went up to the Sacred Valley. I wasn't feeling well and stayed behind just to find I had missed breakfast and there was no lunch there. I texted for the receptionist and she told me about a lunch place just up the street and a pharmacy. What she didn't tell me was how to get in and out of the hotel. They lock the big gate and I had to prop a side door open to get back in. The tea wasn't refilled until late afternoon either! The breakfast served the next day before we left was minimal at best.

“Huge spider in bathroom bugs everyday in bathroom”

This place is beautiful but there were bugs everyday in our bathroom. It’s not soundproof you can hear literally everything outside the room. No privacy whatsoever. This place is beautiful but there were bugs everyday in our bathroom. It’s not soundproof you can hear literally everything outside the room. No privacy whatsoever. They have skylights in almost all the rooms which totally sucks not only is it neon bright in the room constantly it never gets dark enough to sleep comfortably and we went during the rainy season and even though it was raining softly it was pelting the skylight making it very noisy to sleep. We were only there for two nights they don’t have a do not disturb sign so they went in and cleaned the room which we didn’t prefer but it is what it is. The restaurant was good but there just seems to be a language barrier throughout this place. The workers are a bit standoffish maybe bc we are American. They don’t have a walkway that’s clean we got mud and grass on our suitcases which really sucked. There is nothing around the hotel either although the grounds are truly beautiful the landscaper was nice too. They have a bar which seemed to be closed the entire time and there’s no lobby. Wouldn’t stay here again give the choice.
