“Good for a layover and nice restaurant”

We spent 1 night here for a layover. Staff are friendly, and rooms very clean and quite spacious, with air conditioning, nice showers with hot water. Although a bit dated, but that didn't bother us. The food at the restaurant was really good. Overall pretty good value, and probably better for a… lisää

“Good hotel, casino attached to hotel Wooo”

Stayed here for a few nights whilst in Lima. Rooms were clean, staff were nice, breakfast was included daily with some interesting Peruvian breakfast wonders, the bar and was open 24hr witch also served some good snacks.

We stayed at the Thunderbird Hotels Carrera for a week with 3 people. The hotel is in middle class neighborhood, with grocery stores and many restaurants close by. We felt safe, even after dark. We stayed at the Thunderbird Hotels Carrera for a week with 3 people. The hotel is in middle class neighborhood, with grocery stores and many restaurants close by. We felt safe, even after dark. The room was a bit dated and cramped but clean. We had a refrigerator in our room. The staff was very friendly, but if you don't speak Spanish, communications can be challenging, as most of them don't speak English. But they always tried, and found somebody who could act as a translator. This is generally true for most of Lima. They have free Wi-Fi, but it was very slow.
