“Very nice to rest”
This hotel is a good option for people that look for a place to rest. It is very Quiet, very good quality and good personnel. By car you can go easily to Lamego, castro Daire and Viseu and try all the local gastronomy. It is also near the Carvalhar Termas, for health purposes.

“Great hotel in a beautiful location”
We were staying here on a coach tour and it is a great base for visiting towns in the area. Room comfortable and staff very helpful and friendly. Food was good. “Nice enough average hotel”
A nice enough stay, but room needs a bit of tlc and a little understaffed. The room I stayed was nice enough, reasonably large with nice clean comfortable bed. However there had obviously been a leak in the bathroom that had damaged the floor in the main room. The bathroom was ok but a little rough… lisää

“Good base for visiting the region”
Situated in a small village, the hotel is well placed for visits to the Douro as well as towns such as Regis and Viseu. The bus stop is about half a mile down the road if you don't have a car. “Good spa!”
For a 4 star hotel is ok, still not sure if the 4 star is deserved. The spa area and the swimming pool are worth a visit. Very good to relax. The rooms very spacious and sparkly cleaned.
