“Chalk and Cheese”
Very strange to find such a good hotel in one of the most depressing and rundown villages we've been to for quite some time. Everything about the hotel was very, very good.....The room, the spa, the staff and especially the restaurant both for dinner and breakfast were all way more than just OK.… lisää

“A pleasant stay!”
The hotel was nice. There was a decent sized indoor and outdoor pool, as well as a small gym. The room itself was nice, but there was no tea/coffee facilities. There is no ATM on-site which I think is a bit silly, given that taxis in Douro only accept cash only. The breakfast was also good; plenty … lisää

“Holidays in Douro”
I stay atbthis hotel for 3 nights to see all the beatiful places near Douro river. Service was very good. The breakfast was amazing with lots of different things and some o them specialities from that Region. A place to visit again

“Not 4*”
The hotel definitely needs updating: the reception and the rooms. The check in was friendly. The room was basic but clean, same with the bathroom, but the smell of drains was very pungent. View of a horrible back yard. Outside area very small; any sitting space only by the pool.

“Stop over whilst touring”
Stopped off here whilst touring on motorbikes. If you want a hotel that is on the Middle of nowhere and nothing to do nearby this is your hotel . Ate in the restaurant the first night, food average and not much choice. The indoor pool area is nice with hot tub...weather didn't allow us to try th… lisää
