“Lovely stay.”

Stayed here many times - just off the autoroute. It’s a budget hotel but well appointed with comfy beds and tea/coffee tray. Didn’t eat there (as we tend to go out) but it’s good value and reliable. Staff are always friendly and helpful. There are many shops behind (include huge patisserie).

Stayed here many times over the years. A good place to stay if you've just come just off Eurotunnel or on the way to. Always a pleasant reception who speaks English but we tend to converse in French. The rooms are always clean and spacious (for the price). We had our terrier with us. Never a proble… lisää

We arrived earlier than usual so walked into Bethune centre for the first time. Worth a visit with some interesting architecture. This was a Fete weekend so lots going on in the centre including a rock concert! We ate in the centre as we noticed the Campanile had reduced its evening meals service to a few specific days in the week. A shame because we've always enjoyed our evening meal at the Campanile. I'm sure we'll be back again as long as we and our car keep going!

“Not good”

Have stayed here many times over the years but this last stay was not good. On arrival the receptionist ignored us for a good 2 minutes then looked up from her computer to say “I am listening” … yeah well, listen, look and engage with your customer might be better than suggesting we should talk to … lisää

Have stayed here many times over the years but this last stay was not good. On arrival the receptionist ignored us for a good 2 minutes then looked up from her computer to say “I am listening” … yeah well, listen, look and engage with your customer might be better than suggesting we should talk to the back of your head. We were assigned room 3. We parked outside, unloaded luggage, opened the door only to find a used, slept in room that hadn’t been cleaned or made up. Went back to reception for the lady to shrug and say “I was not aware” before being give. Room 18 on the opposite side. A musty smell hit us on opening the door. Flaking paintwork, a damaged door (and missing mirror off the back of the door though with fittings left) made it all feel dirty and unloved. The place needs some tlc and renovation badly!
