“Perfect location, slightly dated but comfortable hotel”

Seeing as there haven't been any reviews for this hotel for a while...! Negative things: - no kettle in room, mini bar fridge wasn't cold at all (sadly I discovered this after buying yoghurt etc) - ancient and ineffective hairdryer in the bathroom - cramped shower space - carpet very dirty, some … lisää

Negative things: - no kettle in room, mini bar fridge wasn't cold at all (sadly I discovered this after buying yoghurt etc) - ancient and ineffective hairdryer in the bathroom - cramped shower space - carpet very dirty, some tabletops not cleaned well - wifi acccess had to be re-coded daily after getting a slip from the front desk - safe in my room didn't work Good things: + excellent, large bed + the balconies and views are incredible - I could look out the window all day + excellent location, super close to the ferry from Lausanne + spacious room + lots of storage + the breakfast spread was nice with a sweet that changed each day + iron is available on request + friendly staff There's a nice Italian restaurant downstairs, a supermarket close by, and it's nice and central.

“Reasonable and elegant, on the lake”

We first considered a bit more expensive hotels in Evian that have spa and fitness facilities. All thing considered, decided for this one for the location and the classic look of the building. (Wifi yes, but no spa or fitness - you can walk or run along the lake!) The lake-view room in fact had win… lisää

We first considered a bit more expensive hotels in Evian that have spa and fitness facilities. All thing considered, decided for this one for the location and the classic look of the building. (Wifi yes, but no spa or fitness - you can walk or run along the lake!) The lake-view room in fact had windows on two sides, both with the lake view. There is the main road along the lake but insulation was good. Super-wide double bed, and a big TV. As we had such a big dinner at night, did not have breakfast. Instead, stroled around the old town and had a nice café&croissant at one of the local boulangerie, which are open also on Sunday mornings. Palais Lumiaire is literally next door, and other main sites also near-by e.g. some water sources (you take an empty bottle and fill it with water yourself), the Thermal center, boat stop... As a whole, it was a great value for money.

“Europe drive”

Beautiful spa town of evian. We normally take a double room but they couldn't accommodate. So we took the 2 rooms and they we good sized. Tobing. Uch in the way of good restaurants in or around the hotel. Car parking was on the road and on the waterfront. There is a casino 200 meters and an italie… lisää

Uch in the way of good restaurants in or around the hotel. Car parking was on the road and on the waterfront. There is a casino 200 meters and an italien. restaurant on the door step of the hotel. It's small and more boutique type. Om for a night but good location if you are driving from Geneva (1.45mins and go on further 1 hour and you are in montreux, switzerland.
