“Well located budget hotel.”

We chose this hotel for its convenient location close to the motorway exit to break a long journey. It’s was easy to find and had plenty of parking. We chose this hotel for its convenient location close to the motorway exit to break a long journey. It’s was easy to find and had plenty of parking. The receptionist was welcoming, clearly used to British people being monolingual so it was disappointing that she responded to my more than adequate French in English! For some reason we had an “accessible room”, perhaps I had ticked that box in error but it wasn’t required. The difference seems to be a little extra space in the bedroom and a wet room style shower which means a curtained off drain in the floor and consequently a wet floor up to the wash basin after use. For those requiring disabled access it should be noted that the doorway to the ground floor corridor has a heavily sprung door so assistance is probably needed. Despite being close to the motorway and even closer to the adjacent D road we didn’t hear any traffic noise with the window closed thanks to quiet, efficient air conditioning. The room was perfectly functional and without frills, fine for an overnight stop. It had a slight odour of drains on entry but this wasn’t noticeable afterwards. We ate at the restaurant next door, which offers a 10% discount and mainly serves meat, as an Internet search showed most other restaurants in the local area are closed on Mondays. Breakfast was good with a selection of yogurts, compote, breads and pastries. We didn’t try the scrambled eggs and bacon that is also on offer. The breakfast area was clean and tidy and the staff were friendly. There are a couple of other budget hotels on this road so if the location suits you it might be an idea to compare prices for your dates. That being said, we would stay there again if we took that route another time.

“Overnight on highway”

This hotel is right off the A71 highway, so on the way to spain by car, it is very convenient. Small but comfortable room, with bunkbeds, which was fun for the kids. Clean, good price and suprisingly good breakfast for the price. In france I've payes much more for much worsre. So all in all for an… lisää

Clean, good price and suprisingly good breakfast for the price. In france I've payes much more for much worsre. So all in all for an overnight on a road trip this was a good deal.

“Average hotel, easy for a stopover.”

Good points - comfortable beds, really good breakfast. Bad points - the air conditioning unit was leaking, a big puddle on the floor by the door, when I told the receptionist she just shrugged and said there was nothing they could do. Also the shower had hairs on the floor, and black mould around … lisää
