“Clean, comfortable, simple, convenient”

We spent two nights at this hotel and were happy with it. It is unpretentious but very quiet and comfortable, the staff were helpful, the hotel breakfast was fine and it was reasonably centrally located. Watching the pilgrims stream south each morning was fun - and then it was our turn.

Very nice, simple hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great European breakfast, with a good selection of items. “Beware Room #4 in Guesthouse”

Our first night on Compostelle. Very warm and helpful welcome. Good price. Very conveniently located for restaurants and Compestelle. Great value breakfast. Only slightly less positive aspect - a very small room in guesthouse with 3 bunk beds, all occupied with friendly people. All available space … lisää

Our first night on Compostelle. Very warm and helpful welcome. Good price. Very conveniently located for restaurants and Compestelle. Great value breakfast. Only slightly less positive aspect - a very small room in guesthouse with 3 bunk beds, all occupied with friendly people. All available space already taken by backpacks, poorly illuminated, and approx 35°c. Slept with window slightly open due to high temperature...window opened onto pavement on busy noisy road junction. Sleeping was a challenge.

“Best location if you do the Le Puy camino”

This hotel is located on your way out of town if you are walking the G65 route. Great room, great facilities. Newly updated and decorated. Really an excellent choice. The only negative is the late check-in times for someone traveling from far.

“I should have been more careful!”

Booked in a rush as very little choice which, it transpires, was due to a professional cycle race. As I am disabled using sticks I struggled with stairs without rails, a blocked ramp and a challenging spiral staircase. The room was clean and functional with further stairs to the bed on the mezzanine. Disabled parking at this time 300 meters away. Good wifi. Bar and breakfast but no evening fare. Le Puy also hilly. For pilgrims these are not important criticisms!
