“Nice place for a great price”

My boyfriend took me here for my birthday last weekend. He reserved through groupon and for about 65 euros we had one night, a welcome drink, breakfast, dinner, and a picnic lunch for the next day. My boyfriend took me here for my birthday last weekend. He reserved through groupon and for about 65 euros we had one night, a welcome drink, breakfast, dinner, and a picnic lunch for the next day. The rooms are simple enough ours had a large shared balcony, a shower stall and a sink. The toilet was just at the end of the hall. We could only get a room with 2 single beds but the owners were nice enough to push them together and it was very comfortable. The dinner was good, with the highlight being the main course of porc with a great sauce and wild rice. We were given advice for a hike and a copy of a map to take with us. Free wifi. Great if you're looking for something family owned and unpretentious.

“Not a hotel I'd recommend”

Old hotel and showing it's age. I drove so I did not enjoy not having any parking nearby, but only in the public parking a few blocks away. it is a small, "auberge" like, familly owned, 12 or so room hotel. the building is rather old and the overall state of the room is just enough to avoid complain, nothing more. the maximum rentability objective is very clear here, and the owner did a good job to achieve it. spending and offering as … lisää

it is a small, "auberge" like, familly owned, 12 or so room hotel. the building is rather old and the overall state of the room is just enough to avoid complain, nothing more. the maximum rentability objective is very clear here, and the owner did a good job to achieve it. spending and offering as little as possible to get maximum return w/o going as far as depreciating the value for his customer. very border line. very expensive for what you could usually expect around the world, but probably a good deal for france and this resort town. you are expected to rent "pension complet" or "demi pension", that is included the 3 meals or 2 meals ( break & diner ) a day. which is l indeed what make the stay a good deal enough. the owner makes a big deal of the food, but again it is just like the room, nothing to complain about but nothing remarkable either. if you make an effort to get acquainted with the owner you will get basically all the information you need.
