This hotel offers one of the best views we have experienced from a bedroom balcony. The vista across Lake Geneva is stunning and it is fascinating to watch the passenger boats and harbour activity. The hotel has a large restaurant overlooking the lake and harbour and it seemed very busy through much of the day. We tried the restaurant one evening and enjoyed a first class meal - filet of perch, which seems compulsory on all the local restaurants menus, and a cod dish for mains, followed by chocolate profiteroles for dessert. We were very impressed with the daily vigorous cleaning regime at this hotel including the regular watering of the picturesque hanging baskets. The only negative point for us was the disappointing breakfast choice, which was not good value for money. However, no problem, as breakfast was an extra to our package, we simply decided to go elsewhere.

When staying at this hotel they make you feel part of the family. With only 7 rooms, the staff gets to know you and your preferences right away. When staying at this hotel they make you feel part of the family. With only 7 rooms, the staff gets to know you and your preferences right away. They do everything they can to make your stay a pleasant experience. We are grateful to Luis who translated when we needed help communicating. We stayed in a lakeview room with a balcony overlooking the lake and the wharf, a beautiful view. We had breakfast in the cozy morning room for quests only. There are many restaurants in Yvoire but we choose to eat at our hotel every night. The view was unbeatable and the food was fantastic.

We had a great 4 night stay. Super views. Check in was lovely and friendly. Had meal on first night. Just perfect. Can’t wait to return. Such good service. Always friendly. Just a great location on the lake. Plus parking at reg sister hotel. We loved it

We had stayed in this hotel five years ago and did so again this June. Again we had a fabulous stay; very welcoming staff. We had stayed in this hotel five years ago and did so again this June. Again we had a fabulous stay; very welcoming staff. This time on the night of our arrival we opted to dine in and enjoyed a truly fabulous repast of fried lake perch with butter-lemon sauce. The restaurant and hotel are on the very edge of Lac Leman, giving views to the Swiss side. This time we opted for a standard room to save money; that was a bad move; the lakeside rooms are truly worth the extra money. The Jardin des Sens is a must visit while inn Yvoire; it is also worth taking a walk to La Chataignerie. We were disappointed to find, however, that Yvoire has become much more touristic, with tour buses bringing mass visitors to this medieval city and as a result many shops now cater to tourist needs for souvenirs and craft goods.
