“Perfect stop over.”

We stayed here on our way to Lucerne and the Stelvio. Having previously stayed elsewhere in Yvoire, I realized that I'd missed a trick. We stayed here on our way to Lucerne and the Stelvio. Having previously stayed elsewhere in Yvoire, I realized that I'd missed a trick. This is a beautiful hotel and restaurant, the staff are amazing and helpful. Such a lovely restful place, I wanted to stay longer than our 2 nights, so that means I'll have to go back one day! We had a room in the new part by the pool and our car was safely parked outside the hotel. Unfortunately we missed eating dinner in the hotel restaurant as they close Sunday and Monday, however we were very well received at the Hotel du Port, their other restaurant. Another reason to return then so we can eat in the Hotel Restaurant! The spa looks amazing even though I didn't really have much time to use it. What a lovely retreat, thank you so much - this is how it should be done!

I am extremely satisfied on my Stay at Hotel Villa Cécile. Hotel is ideally located with all tourist attractions with in short walk . I am also Thankful for staff, the service they extended during our 3 night stay at this hotel . Last but not least appreciate Lovely Breakfast with Wide choice to … lisää

I would definitely stay once again next time visit Yvoire.

“Amazing short break ”

What a wonderful surprise! Trying to find a short break from the UK joining my sister and mother from Norway was not easy in March. But this ticked all the boxes. Easy to get last minute flights. Lovely family run hotel not costing the earth ( check the Swiss side of Lake Geneva!), really wonderful… lisää

What a wonderful surprise! Trying to find a short break from the UK joining my sister and mother from Norway was not easy in March. But this ticked all the boxes. Easy to get last minute flights. Lovely family run hotel not costing the earth ( check the Swiss side of Lake Geneva!), really wonderful/the best spa treatments in a nice not fancy spa. Limited but delicious menu even when just diagnosed dairy intolerant after illness. The staff could not be more helpful. I don’t leave lots of reviews as I work in the leisure Industry and don’t get away enough! But this hit the spot: Wonderful stay - thank you team and you gorgeous sister business Hotel du Port - ps Yvoire is also so beautiful . Will recommend

“We loved loved loved it!!!”

The only reason I am not rating Villa Cecile as excellent is because there was work being done in the room by the pool and that started before 9am, very noisy and not very considerate when on holidays! Also, the hotel is located by a busy road and if like us you do not like sleeping with the AC on,… lisää

The only reason I am not rating Villa Cecile as excellent is because there was work being done in the room by the pool and that started before 9am, very noisy and not very considerate when on holidays! Also, the hotel is located by a busy road and if like us you do not like sleeping with the AC on, it is quite noisy at night with the window open. This is for a room on the pool side, i do not think you will have the issue if you go for a garden side (we will try garden side next time) What more can I say that hasnt already been said in previous comments? beautiful comfortable room with plenty of wardrobe/shelvings if you are there for a more than a night. Beautiful, spacious and bright bathroom with eco friendly toiletries. Make sure you book the restaurant if you wish to have dinner there as it is outside, the restaurant is not huge and you dont want to be disappointed. Maybe they also have their indoor restaurant opened during the high season of summer (it was quiet when we were there last week), but I am not sure about that. In any case, just book! dinner was really nice and I have to say the portions were quite generous unlike mentioned in some previous comments I read. Good quality, just lovely to sit outside in their garden. Breakfast was nice and I think they could do better and maybe it was not quite high season yet when we were there, there was not much choice. We thought E19 pp was a bit expensive. Perfect location too, within minutes to the medieval town, just a very beautiful setting! We were able to check out and leave our luggage there and avail of the pool till later during the day as our flight back home was not till the afternoon. The staff were lovely and friendly, some were on their summer placement we guessed and they were lovely. Good set up for a spa also; very well designed little hotel, cosy and intimate. We just loved it! I totally recommend Villa Cecile and we are hoping to visit again.
