“A Wonderful 4-day stay in Avignon”
We stayed at Hotel De Cambis for 4 nights in February 2026. The hotel is ideally situated in the very attractive city of Avignon, a five-minute walk from the Centre train station, 12 minutes to Pont d’Avignon & 10 minutes to Palais des Papes. “Wonderful hotel and front desk staff!”
What a wonderful hotel located in a perfect central location. Laundry is a block away, plenty of food choices and easy walking distance to all sites. The room was wonderful a and the staff was great

“Wonderful!”
This hotel was a great find in Avignon. Close to the train station and a short easy walk to the Palace of the Popes and many shops/restaurants. The rooms were large (especially the family room!). The decor was fun and updated, and the staff were very helpful.

“Solid hotel in AVignon”
The Hotel DeCambis is a very nice hotel in a great location-a few blocks from the train station and a less than 10 minute walk to several restaurants and palace of the popes. “Second somewhat disappointing visit especially noise levels.”
The biggest problem is the level of street cleaning noise at around 4:30am at the front of the hotel. It lasted approaching 1 hour 3 nights running, more the first day as there was garbage collection. Also the breakfast was a little tired a couple of days. Quite sad eggs and bacon, drying out chees… lisää
