“Great location”

We got a junior suite and the size of the room is good with a small kitchen/dining room. The room that we got had a great view facing the mountains too. We got a junior suite and the size of the room is good with a small kitchen/dining room. The room that we got had a great view facing the mountains too. The hotel is well situated with the mountains & Citadelle de Sisteron within a short walk from the hotel. There was a carpark right outside the hotel which is very convenient too. We encountered some language issues with the front desk staff but that wasn’t much of an issue with the help of google translate. The room offered basic amenities and toiletries (eg towels, shower gel, TV) but the cleanliness of the toilet can be improved. Do also note that the room did not have AC and only had a ceiling fan, but the weather was very cooling, so a fan was more than sufficient for us. The bedding was acceptable with clean sheets. Overall it is a simple hotel and is definitely worth it for the amount that we paid.

“OK but lacking in facilities ”

The hotel is easy to find. Public parking outside was very busy and as a result we parked our 2 bikes on the pavement but not sure if we just got away with it. The room has no air conditioning but a big fan. We couldn't work out how to have the fan on without the wall lights being on and didn't wan… lisää

The hotel is easy to find. Public parking outside was very busy and as a result we parked our 2 bikes on the pavement but not sure if we just got away with it. The room has no air conditioning but a big fan. We couldn't work out how to have the fan on without the wall lights being on and didn't want the window open due to mosquitoes. The view was amazing. The ash tray on the balcony had not been emptied which made you wonder about the attention to detail. There was a strong smell of bleach when we arrived and once we had showered it was obvious why as after that there was a bad smell from the drain .The toilet was tiny and initially we thought we didn't have one. The lift is very small which isn't the end of the world but it was a case of one person with luggage or 2 people max. Staff were friendly and the bar was good. Breakfast was fine but overall not good value for money.

“You get what you pay for”

A very basic hotel that is reflected in its price. We booked one of the few rooms with en-suite facilities (who knew this wasn't standard in this day and age!!) though door to the separate toilet in the room opened directly next to the bed. Clean room and great location for the town centre restaura… lisää

A very basic hotel that is reflected in its price. We booked one of the few rooms with en-suite facilities (who knew this wasn't standard in this day and age!!) though door to the separate toilet in the room opened directly next to the bed. Clean room and great location for the town centre restaurants, shops and bars. Car park to front of hotel has to be paid for and can get very busy. We deliberately chose not to eat in the hotel as we were unsure about the cleanliness in the bar/restaurant area, very different to the clean hotel room we experienced. With some significant investment this hotel could be amazing.
