“Short break”

We stayed for two nights in this hotel at short notice. We paid extra for upgraded rooms and they were both excellent. We were unable to stay in one room over 2 nights. The breakfasts were fine and the whole experience most satisfactory!

“Neat, clean, simple...”

Stayed 4 nights. It's a neat clean nicely located hotel. Breakfast is adequate and the good thing is we were not held to some half board package (in fact they don't even have a restaurant/bar serving dinner or drinks - but we did not mind this). Stayed 4 nights. It's a neat clean nicely located hotel. Breakfast is adequate and the good thing is we were not held to some half board package (in fact they don't even have a restaurant/bar serving dinner or drinks - but we did not mind this). We ended up walking into town each evening for some dinner and found a great Pizza place and a Crepes place on the main street. We would come back here as it served our purpose. We would wake up in the morning, drive to La Bresse for all day skiing, come back in the late afternoon, rest for a bit, then head into town.

“Great little hotel in heart of Gerardmer”

We stayed here in December 2014 for a little getaway snowboarding holiday. The hotel is right across from a huge free parking space and the lake. We stayed here in December 2014 for a little getaway snowboarding holiday. The hotel is right across from a huge free parking space and the lake. It is only a short walk away from most restaurants and small corner stores. The staff at reception were always friendly and gave us great tips on what to do in the area as the pistes were still closed on our first day. They recommended a local climbing wall to us, which slightly made up for the missed time on the slopes.The ski storage room might not offer all the facilities usually found, like boot drying racks, but it does the job. The restaurant offered a great range of breakfast items, however as we were both students on a budget we opted for the local bakery on most days. This hotel is definitely recommendable if you are looking for a comfortable yet not too expensive stay.

Please make sure you pay a few euros more for the rooms and take a view on the lake. Place is good and clean but is a bit noisy when you sit on the balcony. There are just some metals bars between each room's balcony so if more people sit outside there is limited privacy. Breakfast is good and in t… lisää
