“Nice and handy hotel”

Just the right location for an overnight stopover between the northern ferry ports and Italy. Rooms are small and a bit dated but the bed is comfy, the shower is refreshing and the AC works although it is on a timer so goes off after a couple of hrs. Just the right location for an overnight stopover between the northern ferry ports and Italy. Rooms are small and a bit dated but the bed is comfy, the shower is refreshing and the AC works although it is on a timer so goes off after a couple of hrs. Breakfast was fresh and typical of a continental type with meats hams cereal ect and the coffee was nice. The car park felt safe for the car and we did see the gendarmes patrolling which was reassuring.

“Excellent for overnight travel stop”

We used this hotel for our trip to Italy with a dog. The Tesla supercharger is very near which for us was ideal. When we indicated to the hotel that we would be later then 22:00 (at which the reception closes) the receptionist contacted us and explained how to use the computer at door of the hotel … lisää

We used this hotel for our trip to Italy with a dog. The Tesla supercharger is very near which for us was ideal. When we indicated to the hotel that we would be later then 22:00 (at which the reception closes) the receptionist contacted us and explained how to use the computer at door of the hotel to receive our card for accessing the hotel.

“Good mid journey stop”

Filled out requirements well. Reception helped us find food locally even tho limited by covid restrictions. The WiFi worked well and the TV had a usb to charge mobile from. Some disposable slippers/sandals might have been good but everything was clean and worked. Would stop again. Many thanks.

“Not a Great Nights Sleep”

Our experience at Roi Soleil Mulhouse was unfortunately not ideal, but this was only partially the hotel’s fault. Our experience at Roi Soleil Mulhouse was unfortunately not ideal, but this was only partially the hotel’s fault. The non working AC unit in our room on an unseasonably warn fall night was definitely an issue that kept us from getting a good nights sleep, but equally important was our failure to recognize a double bed was not going to work for a couple who usually use a king size. A twin room ( assuming a queen was not possible) would have been a better option; lesson learned from our perspective. Our room was small, but clean and the bed was reasonably comfortable, especially in light of the very reasonable room rate. I don’t think we’d stay there again, but for the budget traveller,it’s a decent option.
