“Excellent Hotel”

We booked this hotel through a flyer for 5 nights including dinner. Our room was very spacious well decorated and extremely clean. We booked this hotel through a flyer for 5 nights including dinner. Our room was very spacious well decorated and extremely clean. We had a balcony but we were on the backside of the hotel so we really didn’t have a view but it didn’t matter to us because we were out and about all day. The rooms on the front side have an excellent view of the castle at the top of the mountain. The hotel staff speaks French, Germany and English so it wasn’t hard to communicate with them. Dinner was a 4 course meal with large portions. The only drawback that someone might have is they only have the one 4 course Menü. It didn’t matter to us because everything they served was excellent. We couldn’t have eaten any better anywhere else. By the time dinner was over we were stuffed and satisfied. We will definitely be back to stay here. There is not much in the town but there are towns nearby to enjoy.

“Well located efficient stopover”

We stopped here for just one night on our journey home. Very happy to park right outside, free of charge. We had a good sized room (no 14) with a balcony. Clean, and comfortable beds, if a trifle dated. Sadly no free bottles of water, and the TV had no signal. The towels were skimpy. But by no mean… lisää

We stopped here for just one night on our journey home. Very happy to park right outside, free of charge. We had a good sized room (no 14) with a balcony. Clean, and comfortable beds, if a trifle dated. Sadly no free bottles of water, and the TV had no signal. The towels were skimpy. But by no means an uncomfortable room. They operate a single menu here for dinner, but you can pick from the four courses and it was well cooked and presented, for great value. The waiting staff were attentive and efficient. The dining room was packed, which should say everything. Breakfast was par for the course, with all the usual continental options. All in all it ticked the boxes without stirring the emotions very much.

“Relaxed!”

Perfect place for a drink! Right next to the big street but the view is nice. Personnel is kind and speaks English. Great wines and beers. We even had a pie. Sun, beers, wines and relaxation. Definitly recommended! We were there with 4 people.

“Quiet hotel for a stop in the Alsace”

Have been here several times over the years. Beds are comfortable, rooms are quiet, in shoert, a pleasant place to stay. The cooking however has gone down dramatically, since when do tagiatelle figure on a menu of local specialities, or gazpacho, or brie ?? Eat flammekuchen on the terrace, and orde… lisää

Have been here several times over the years. Beds are comfortable, rooms are quiet, in shoert, a pleasant place to stay. The cooking however has gone down dramatically, since when do tagiatelle figure on a menu of local specialities, or gazpacho, or brie ?? Eat flammekuchen on the terrace, and order a carafe of wine, we ordered a bottle of riesling, and 3,, one after the other, had fön, ie had passed their zenith.
