“Ideal overnight stop”

Good location, just off our route down through France. Convenient restaurant at hotel and two others nearby. Clean, comfortable accommodation, although air conditioning would have been good. Free wifi in room. Staff very polite and helpful.

We are a family of two adults and two children and we wanted an adjoining room so we booked a Junior Suite. We got exactly what we wanted - two rooms with a communicating door - and having two bathrooms was a bonus. Breakfast was good and set us up for the day. We booked through laterooms. Brits be warned - no kettle or "proper" tea - so take your own travel kettle and T-Bags (also, for those of you who don't know, the French do not do "squash" - so take your own or enjoy the fruit juices and water. To travel into Paris by train (RER) was about £100.00 for 5 days and took about 1/2 an hour, from Saint-Michel-sur-Orge (which has free parking and is about 10 minutes drive from the hotel). The service ran very frequently.

“Affordable and good for the Montlhery Autodrome”

For the price of a B & B in the UK you get a quiet comfortable room with an OK bathroom, free WiFi and a pretty good breakfast. For the price of a B & B in the UK you get a quiet comfortable room with an OK bathroom, free WiFi and a pretty good breakfast. It’s not the Hilton, but the rooms were clean and tidy, a little tired perhaps but perfectly acceptable and in keeping with the price. There was plenty of hot water and at a decent pressure so either for a decent shower or a pretty speedy filling of the bath. The soundproofing in the rooms is a little lacking so any noisy late night arrivals talking in the corridors can be annoying, but, it’s not a ‘party hotel’ so the noise issues were minor and short lived. The Hotel is staffed by one person managing reception, the bar and the breakfast; again this reflects the room price so if it is a busy day you may have to wait for that end of day beer. They speak a little English – enough to ‘get by’, and were very helpful. Top marks for trying. The breakfast and reception area is nicely themed Ferrari and there is what seems to be a genuine F1 car in the breakfast area. All in all, pound for pound a good place for a short business or local event stay – I was at the Montlhery Autodrome which was about ten minutes away, there were several participants there all quite happy with the hotel. Would I go back? Yes.

Very basic but comfortable rooms with good beds. We arrived late in the evening and were lucky they had rooms left. Breakfast the following morning was the typical French breakfast with rolls, cheeses, cold cuts, yoghurt, and baguettes. For orange juice you had the choice of getting it from a machine or making it fresh! Although we were late for breakfast the staff made sure we were taken care of. English is no problem here.
