“Best value in Chartres in out book”

We got a room on the top floor where almost all the rooms have a great view of the cathedral (ours did). They've changed the access roads yet again (not the hotels fault), just ignore the no entry signs towards the station. Good parking and a great welcome. We got a room on the top floor where almost all the rooms have a great view of the cathedral (ours did). They've changed the access roads yet again (not the hotels fault), just ignore the no entry signs towards the station. Good parking and a great welcome. The guy at the desk remembered us and noted we were also booked for August, so we must like the hotel. Great room and a nice shower room. The breakfast was as good as always with loads of choices, including cold meats, scrambled eggs & bacon. easy walking distance to the station and the town centre. The hotel parking is much cheaper than the local car park.

“Generally positive but things need improvement”

We have been to this hotel a few times over the years. One advantage of the hotel is its central location and the private parking. The rooms are not large but certainly sufficient for their purpose. We have been to this hotel a few times over the years. One advantage of the hotel is its central location and the private parking. The rooms are not large but certainly sufficient for their purpose. The bedding is very good. However, there are no tea/coffee-making facilities, although we were given a small electric kettle upon request. One other drawback is that the rooms could be better maintained. In our room (313), paint was peeling off the ceiling. We also found an empty can under the armchair that the cleaning personnel didn't remove for some reason. But generally, it was a much-needed and reasonably good stay.

First of all, really good AC. That's important if you're there in hot weather. It's a great location for the train station, but has a nice car park as well. First of all, really good AC. That's important if you're there in hot weather. It's a great location for the train station, but has a nice car park as well. The staff was excellent, although they do get very busy when there are multiple check-ins with questions. Our room overlooked the car park, but it gave us a nice view of the cathedral, so we could see the lights at night. There is a nice bar area with some local snacks and tables to sit outside. The breakfast was buffet-style with lots of choices. The rooms were a nice-sized, with plenty of room for luggage. We slept well. There is an elevator, but nice wide stairs as well that are split by landings. Everything felt clean.

Room was v clean but too basic. No toilet brush in the toilet, no kettle (it really doesn't cost much to provide one with a few sachets of coffee and milk). Bonus is AC and parking but it comes at a cost which was not obvious in booking.com. we paid ~£200 for 1 night for 3 adults. Breakfast… lisää

Very easy reach to the cathedral.
