“Beautiful, stylish hotel with a great team of staff”

I stayed for 3 nights and couldn’t fault anything. The food in the restaurant is fabulous and breakfast is fresh and delicious Morning was lovely’s.

The bed and pillows were perfectly comfortable in a “Standard” room. The WiFi connection was fine and probably offered a good movie experience, if required. The bed and pillows were perfectly comfortable in a “Standard” room. The WiFi connection was fine and probably offered a good movie experience, if required. Overall, the château gave a pleasant feeling of luxury with its many carpeted rooms, staircase and swimming pool with two eye-catching waterfalls. What especially impressed us were the two lounges where you could read peacefully, use the chess set provided or do whatever else you wished. The two owners, Isabelle and Michel were very friendly, helpful and spoke good English! During our Easter dinner, Michel came around and talked with all diners. The restaurant food was excellent while the buffet breakfast provided the option of ordering for example, an omelette, as an extra item. Parking was free and offered one functioning EV charger. There were two others publicly available some ten or fifteen minutes away.

“Outstanding!”

Stayed for one night to celebrate a birthday. We had an excellent stay in all respects. I can't remember being given such a wonderful welcome and close attention by the owners and all of their staff. Stayed for one night to celebrate a birthday. We had an excellent stay in all respects. I can't remember being given such a wonderful welcome and close attention by the owners and all of their staff. The bedroom was really comfortable and immaculately clean. The food was outstanding. Could not be a better location for visiting beautiful Monpazier and the other nearby Bastide towns. We shall return.

We stayed in this hotel on a cycling tour of the Lot and Dordogne area. It is a beautiful hotel in so many ways. We stayed in this hotel on a cycling tour of the Lot and Dordogne area. It is a beautiful hotel in so many ways. After a hot day of cycling we were thrilled to be able to relax in the pool, it is a a lovely area with a lovely view of the Dordogne countryside. The hotel is very well located in Monpazier, one can take a walk through the town centre. The hotel is a 19th manor house is tastefully appointed throughout. We thoroughly enjoyed both our breakfast and dinner. As we were on a cycling tour, it is bicycle friendly and there is a shed to lock up the bikes. I would recommend this restaurant without hesitation and if I am ever find myself re-visiting Monpazier, I will make sure I stay here again.
