“Gastronomic stopover in Saintes.”
The hotel is lovely in a laid back slightly quirky way. Not a modern box. the grounds and view from the dining room are delightfully calm despite being close to the centre of Saintes and major roads. The staff were efficient and very welcoming. Dinner was superb.

“Exceptional cuisine and setting”
A beautiful setting surrounded by the gardens, lake and pond, and water birds. The dinner was exceptionally good with creative, delicious dishes, imaginatively presented in a quiet spacious dinning area over looking the lake.

“Excellent”
Stayed overnight to break a journey. Friendly, welcoming staff. Spacious bedroom. Everywhere stylish and well furnished. Outstandingly delicious dinner. I would highly recommend this hotel and restaurant.
