“Motorbike Trip circling Madrid June 2024”
Second bike off the Ferry, first out of the Port. Cool over the mountains. Hotel nice as usual, El Cid closed on a Monday as usual, stroll into town and beer/Tapas, as usual. Just a few bars open mind. Very Good accommodation and friendly check out.

This is a very friendly hotel with a swimming pool and close to lots of things to do as well as being close to the town of Villacayo .Vilacayo is a lovely region of Spain and well worth exploring . “Wonderful retreat”
We decided to stay in this hotel that is one hour from Burgos as we had a ferry crossing the next day. We do not want to be in a busy city. It is a lovely family run business in a small town. “Motorbike Trip May/June 2023”
I stayed here the first and last night of my Motorbike Trip, from Santander. Easy to find. Good English and good Breakfast. El Cid next door wasn't open in the evening, but I didn't find walking into town, where there was plenty of choice. I would recommend.

“Overnight stay”
Stayed here overnight whilst travelling from ferry to south of Spain. Rooms were large and furnished traditionally. Beds were comfortable. No air con but windows could open to let in some cooler air.
