I was visiting the area with my son in preparation for an international sporting event and we had the absolute luck of finding Villa des Glycines. We stayed for 3 nights and got absolutely spoiled by Pepita and Pierre. Villa des Glycines Is a beautifully presented property. Our room was amazing down to every detail. The bed so comfy we did not want to get us. The room so big it felt like an apartment, with a full shower and a bath. Breakfast was so tasty and thoughtful, with so many options we loved the, fruit, eggs and Croissants. We loved it so much we’ve booked again! I’d highly recommend Villa des Glycines to anyone. It’s a little gem!

The accommodation is simply superb from the welcome on arrival, the superb quality of the bedding and facilities to the amazing breakfast and helpfulness of the owner. Cannot praise enough. We were given very helpful information on the local area which helped us to maximise our time in the area.

Every detail has been carefully considered. I only review places I believe to be extra special and this is a very special place. The attention is personal and genuine. The town is a trifle dull but well-placed as a centre for exploration.

Everything you read about this B&B is correct. In the past 17 years, we have spent over 14 months in France, with many nights at B&Bs. This would rank, without a doubt, as #1! It starts with the warm greeting by the charming Pépita. You are shown to your room (Lavande) where there is a large firm bed with quality linens, a sofa, a desk area and chair, good storage, a proper place at the entrance to place suitcases. The bathroom has a large sink, good storage, 2 bath towels, 2 hand towels, 2 bath mitts, a separate WC and best of all, a great rain shower. There were several wooden hangars and several wooden pant/skirt hangars, 2 bottles of water, a box of Kleenex (a first in a B&B for us) and very good WiFi. Parking is in the gated yard. We asked for a pizza place for dinner and we were recommended the excellent Moopy’s Bay a few feet away in the next street. After a good night’s sleep, we were served the best breakfast we have ever had at a B&B. The fruit tray had fresh melon slices, fresh pineapple, whole plums, strawberries, red grapefruit segments, 2 huge dates and sliced peaches and plums. We were offered 3 different juices and were served freshly-squeezed orange (which really was). There were 2 kinds of bread, croissants, cake, 2 jams, marmalade, Nutella, honey, salted and sweet butter, dry sausage slices and goat cheese. A choice of 3 kinds of yogurt were offered. The coffee was excellent. All was served in the lovely Breakfast Room at individual tables covered with antique linens and beautifully set with cloth napkins and lovely china. What a wonderful way to start the day! When we returned from our day of sightseeing, the room had been cleaned and used towels replaced. It was a joy to spend 2 nights here.
