The front desk service by Laura was excellent. We were on a tour and our tour guide booked my husband and I twin beds when we wanted one bed. Laura who spoke perfect English quickly got us changed into another room which was larger and nicer with no extra fee. Throughout our stay if we needed wine … lisää

The front desk service by Laura was excellent. We were on a tour and our tour guide booked my husband and I twin beds when we wanted one bed. Laura who spoke perfect English quickly got us changed into another room which was larger and nicer with no extra fee. Throughout our stay if we needed wine glasses or hot water for my tea time in my room Laura was there to quickly accommodate us. The rooms were very clean and the hotel is located across the street from the entrance to the grotto but off the main street and on a side street so very quiet. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom huge which is a plus for us. The dining in the hotel had lunch deals and excellent food. I would highly recommend this hotel when visiting Lourdes.

The Grand Hotel Moderne is a lovely hotel and spotlessly clean. The staff are all so welcoming and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. Our room was excellent, and the beds very comfortable. The reception staff are all very helpful, especially Simone, who helped us when the French Air Traffic Controllers called a strike on our last evening and all flights out were cancelled. The hotels location is excellent, and only a few minutes walk to the Lourdes Basilica and Grotto. Thank you Grand Hotel Moderne!
