“Nice accommodation in Lourdes”

The service was professional and prompt. The areas were well maintained an orderly flow of traffic when a large group of clients all came in together. Good location easy to find in a town full of hotels.

Lovely hotel in a great location, about 10 minutes from the main Sanctuary with plenty of shops and restaurants near by. This was my second time staying at this hotel on pilgrimage in Lourdes with a group of 50. We arrived late at night and we were presented with a 4 course meal despite being late on and other guests had finished. The soup every night was absolutely delicious. Most nights we had some sort of meat: beef, pork chops, chicken and this was always cooked well and tasted good as well. We were full board so were entitled to lunch as well. The lunches were decent with a salad to begin with and one day we had fish and another was beef. We had a day trip to Gavarnie on our second last day and the hotel kindly provided is with packed lunches. This included a sandwich, baguette, fruit, tomato, egg, water and a dessert which was very generous. They have free wifi which works well throughout the hotel, including the rooms. The rooms were fine, maybe a little small but the beds were very comfortable. I'm not a big fan of the type of pillow they use but I was able to use the extra blankets provided and put these under my pillow to make it higher. There only seemed to be one socket which was placed at the door. We ended up having to unplug the TV and use that as it was closer to the beds. Air conditioning was strong which was good as they days we were in Lourdes, it was roasting hot. Another downside to the room was the shower - there was not holder for it and so we had to hold the shower as we were using it. Our rooms were cleaned each day with fresh towels provided. We barely used the bar in the hotel, however the gin and tonic I tasted was more like a sambuka - it did not taste like gin at all. Someone else from the party also mentioned the vodka had an off taste as well. May be worth having a look into this. Overall, we all had a pleasant stay and the staff were really helpful and friendly. I would recommend this hotel and I would definitely return.

Located in a good area, Ariane Hotel is indeed close to the main Sanctuary and nearby shops and restaurants. The design of the hotel is dated and could use some refurbishment. However, very clean rooms and great service from the staff. Wifi poor in some areas of the hotel, and food at the restauran… lisää

Located in a good area, Ariane Hotel is indeed close to the main Sanctuary and nearby shops and restaurants. The design of the hotel is dated and could use some refurbishment. However, very clean rooms and great service from the staff. Wifi poor in some areas of the hotel, and food at the restaurant could do with some improvement, especially the breakfast.
