“Beautiful chateau ”
The chateau has been beautifully restored and unlike other chateaux that we have stayed in where you get great aunt Mathilde’s old bed and tired antique furniture, (although it still had a sit in bath with a shower head), the Chateau de Murviel has been beautifully furnished as well. Chateau de Murviel is magnificent! The views are spectacular. Jocelyn is a wonderful host, and we also enjoyed meeting her hospitable family. The castle is immaculate and beautifully decorated. “The best Chateau in the area”
I wanted something different to stay, not just a hotel or a villa. We found a wonderful chateau, very old one, located on the top of the hill in the middle of Beziers old town. “Historic place in southern France in Languedoc”
This is the castle in Murviel lès Béziers which has the B&B Chateau de Murviel. The mayors office is also located in the castle building. The B&B has a genuine French charm in an historic atmosphere with a beautiful view over the valley with vineyards.
