Second stay in this beautiful hotel, this time upgraded from a chalet room to a charme room in the main hotel. Lovely room, with the best ever deep bath, perfect for post ski soaks. Food as always absolutely gorgeous on half board option. Well priced wine list and very welcoming hotel staff. Had a great week here and such good value compared to Meribel. Bubble takes 20/25 mins to get to Meribel and runs starting very early. Highly recommended. See you next year!

Lovely hotel with amazing food and arranged to offer everything from sumptuous bedrooms in the main hotel to more budget friendly chalet style rooms suited to skiers in an annex. I booked with ski weekends and stayed in the latter. Annex chalet rooms were basic, but clean, warm, great shower pressure, very comfy beds and excellent Wi-Fi. These represented phenomenal value particularly with half board considering how expensive the 3 Valleys can be. The food was on another level, very high quality beautifully presented ,also a fantastic wine list and really comfortable & inviting bar area. Breakfast was also varied and very good. Staff really helpful and friendly. We arrived a bit early but were able to access our room immediately. The ski gondola was less than a five minute walk and takes 25 minutes to get straight into the heart of Meribel for, in my opinion, the best skiing area in Europe. Plenty of places to eat and drink in Brides, but to be honest the food and drink on offer at the Hotel Altis Vert would take some beating. Handy sauna and steam room useful after a days skiing too. The quality, value and welcome makes it a super option if you want to ski in the 3 Valleys without the overpriced cost of Meribel and Courchevel hotels and restaurants. The only complaint was the use of disposable single paper cups in the annex bathrooms that were never replaced, meaning there was no water glass/cup after the first night. I’m sure the hotel would have given you a proper glass if you asked, but I’d expect to see at least a plastic glass as a minimum. That said it was the only thing I could flaw and this is a beautiful hotel with amazing staff, great location and incredible food and I’m already planning my return for Winter 2025. Would definitely return.

We stayed in this hotel from the end of December 2023 to the beginning of January 2024. To say that we were very satisfied is an understatement. The hotel is small but very cozy and clean. There are homelike corners in the lobby and in the restaurant with sofas and armchairs where you can sit and rest. Rooms are spacious, with comfortable bed and daily high-quality cleaning. Our room had enough furniture and a spacious closet to accommodate all the things needed by two skiers (we took a room for two). The bathroom was clean, warm and comfortable with good hot water pressure. There are two free parking zones for visitors next to the hotel, near the main entrance and behind the restaurant. The hotel is located on the main street within walking distance from a supermarket, pharmacy and all necessary shops, as well as equipment rental, and next to the “Olymp” ski cabin lift, with about a 10-minute walk with ski equipment or a 5-minute walk lightly. The hotel has a separate building for skiing and other equipment, very comfortable and warm, boots and equipment were dried out by the morning. The restaurant deserves special compliments. A tasty and satisfying breakfast, sufficient for those who spend the whole day on the ski slopes. The dinners are simply magnificent, during the entire time we lived at the hotel, the menu of the day for dinner was never repeated, the dishes were always different, tasty and very beautifully served. On New Year's Eve, the gala dinner was simply gorgeous! Many thanks to the entire hotel team - all the employees are very friendly and are always happy to help with any issue. They helped us with settling even our personal problems that hotels usually are not obliged to solve. Separately, a huge thanks indeed for everything to Grégory!!! The total conclusion: we feel as if we were not in a hotel, but visiting close relatives. It’s highly likely to be our best ski vacation. We recommend this hotel to everyone! We will try very hard to come here again!

“just so-so”

I stayed here for 10 nights while I was attending the WC ski races. positives- - right off of the main street but quiet -restaurants and bars 1 minute away (they also have a restaurant and bar) -room was nice, with a large balcony negatives- -I was on the third floor. They use some second party commercial wifi service, sometimes the wifi worked and sometimes it did not work. Even when ii worked there was no way it would stream movies etc. I asked them and they said "they were aware of this". Not a great answer. - Breakfast was from 7:30 (?) to 9:30 am. I would come in at 9 am and often the scrambled eggs were gone, they did not make more. Same with the little sausages. A few days I just ended up getting a coffee. - Although I did not use it, the reading lamp next to the bed was broken. - There was a small table where I put my laptop, but there was just one plug which had the table lamp plugged into it. They did lend me a power strip.
