Hotel and Staff This hotel has a very appealing chalet look to it and each apartment is beautifully laid out in chalet style. The heated pool and hot tub is brilliant to slink into after a day of skiing, very luxurious except for the cold walk down to the pool. Why I have not given a it a five star review and four instead is because the staff are uninterested in you and your stay and seem fairly sour towards customers. Hotel Position Peisey-Vallandry is a great position in Les Arcs for ski access with the Grizzly lift, Vallandry and the Vanoise Express. Which can get you to the rest of Les Arcs (Grizzly and Vallandry via Derby and Transarc) and also La Plagne. There is also a supermarket and excellent pizza places around the hotel. Skis can be rented from nearby also. Facilities Boot room is spacious and all that is needed although is at the bottom of some steps which are tricky to use when in ski boots and encumbered in skis, helmets and goggles.

“NO WIFI. No wardrobe in one bedroom. Otherwise - fine.”

The room that we were allocated this time (we've stayed there four years on the trot) which was A9, was small . One bedroom had NO WARDROBE at all, less than ideal but tolerable. The room that we were allocated this time (we've stayed there four years on the trot) which was A9, was small . One bedroom had NO WARDROBE at all, less than ideal but tolerable. But the main gripe (again) is that this 'hotel' has no wifi connectivity. In the room - None! Tried in the middle of the night just in case it was busier during the day. Still nothing. Went to reception area where there was also NO WIFI. They tried to palm me off at reception with some nonsense about 'being up a mountain' but I kept complaining, refused to accept the situation and, after a while, they eventually gave me a portable router/wifi gadget. This provided some wifi connectivity but still very poor level. Enough for my phone (barely) but our PCs (3 of them) couldnt find the signal. Very poor in this day and age. The facilities are good otherwise. Staff pleasant enough etc. There is no bar or restaurant in the 'hotel' so I guess this is the Frech playing fast and loose with the term 'hotel'. As a suggestion I would say use some of that enormous, empty, unused space in the Foyer and first floor and PUT IN A BAR!
