This is a charming hotel and very convenient for Puy du Fou! We were welcomed by the lovely Catherine, who runs this, hotel with her husband Olivier, check in was simple and pleasant and we found our room to be clean with comfy beds and a clean bathroom and toilet - I would like to address a previous review that said the toilet was too small, this was not our experience , a separate toilet and bathroom is quite common and both were perfectly adequate and modern. On our first night we had dinner in the hotel restaurant, which was lovely - the restaurant has a quirky traditional style which adds to the charm and the food was good. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful with fresh croissants. We also used the pool during our stay, which our daughter enjoyed. We stayed during the heatwave and our room was warm but we were provided with an oscillating fan to help. We visited the nearby Puy du Fou, which is an absolute must if you’re in this area. We will return and would happily stay here again.

Wel, the reception was friendly, the room spacy, with a slight interior design it would make a junior suite! The dinner was exceptionally delicious. What we did not like was the breakfast time: it finishes at 9 o'clock on Sunday morning! In sum, the reception vs. quality was excellent. A

“I'd take a better room next time”

Very convenient little hotel, close to where our daughter is working, which is the only reason we chose it. But it was very convenient for Cholet (don't go shopping on a Sunday, everything is closed) and for Puy du Fou, which was an unexpected delight and definitely worth a visit. I think the hot… lisää

Very convenient little hotel, close to where our daughter is working, which is the only reason we chose it. But it was very convenient for Cholet (don't go shopping on a Sunday, everything is closed) and for Puy du Fou, which was an unexpected delight and definitely worth a visit. I think the hotel is probably worth a 4 star rating, if you go for one of the superior rooms, ours was small and functional, with nothing wrong at all, just a bit pokey and with a shower arrangement in the bath which made it impossible to keep the floor dry. Staff very friendly and welcoming, breakfast is exactly what you'd expect in France - with squeezing your own orange juice an extra bit of added jeopardy. Looks like the restaurant gets busy in the evenings, but we didn't try it. We would definitely stay again, but I would upgrade to a different room next time.
