My husband and I stayed three nights at Fare Pea Iti and did not want to leave! From the moment we arrived on the resort and breakfast was ready for us, we felt welcomed. Our beachfront bungalow was clean and had a beautiful view of the lagoon, and it was decorated inside with gorgeous flowers every where. We were in French Polynesia for a week, and the lunches and dinners we had here on our 3 day stay were the best we had the whole trip. My husband and I love seafood, so we requested as much seafood as we could have, and the chef delivered! We used the bikes to go exploring every day and typically passed more people walking and biking on the roads than cars. We did the island tour and Patricia was a wonderful guide in addition to the places we stopped along the way. The motu snorkeling and lunch was amazing, if we'd had time we would have done it a second time, the snorkeling was so good and it was just a relaxing experience. We took out the Hobie Cat and had fun with it, but definitely had no idea what we were doing- luckily the captain gave us some hints and helped us out! The only downside of the location was no beach access due to the coral, but that meant fish and coral right off the dock. If you want a relaxing, non-touristy feeling place to go, book now and you won't regret it!

Fabulous location, great food, lovely, friendly staff. We had the Superior Beach Bungalow which is secluded and has a hot tub. It was gorgeous. The staff arranged 2 day tours for us. One was to a private motu with the Coral Garden for great snorkelling where we spent a few hours. This included a lovely traditional lunch. A fabulous day with Captain Oliver. The other was a half-day tour of the island visiting pearl farm, vanilla farm and rum distillery and beautiful views along the way. We highly recommend Fare Pea Iti.

“⭐️Stay At this Fantastic Retreat! ⭐️ One of the Best Parts of An Epic Holiday! ⭐️”

We stayed at Fare Pea Iti for three days after a sailing charter with our friends. It was a lush, welcome respite after being on a boat for 10 days. The Captain (we never got his name, just "The Captain" :D) picked us up in Raiatea at the Uturoa Marina and treated us to a sweet and scenic ride to Taha'a. About 15 mins. The day was beautiful and we could tell he knew his way around the waters and reefs. When we pulled up to the little dock, Poe was waiting there to greet us with lei. We were then escorted to a covered patio. Poe brought us fresh squeezed juice and went over the history and amenities offered at the lodge. She was also very thorough with our dietary needs/ restrictions. Our bungalow was SWEET! It was as big as a generous, one bedroom apartment. It had a bar/kitchenette with a mini fridge and electric kettle for instant hot coffee. A walk in shower with a drying line and a closet hall. The bed was soft, spacious and comfy. Although it wasn't air conditioned, the fan and the mosquito nets at night worked out fine. We had mosquito punks with us from the boat and used those at night when we went to sleep. We had our own private beach area with a table and lounge chairs. We had our first lunch out on the table with a view of the dock and motus. It was heavenly! The large hermit crabs that came out and dusk and dawn were really big and fun to watch. I would get up at sunrise when no one else seemed to be up and walked out to the dock. There is a good amount of reef fish right out there. I even saw an octopus, which was pretty special. Our three days were spent relaxing, cooling off in the lovely pool, riding around on the complimentary bikes and checking out the island. Poe arranged for a rental car to come to the lodge. We filled out the paperwork there and returned it to the lodge with a full tank of gas when we were done. It is a very quiet, rural island with hardly any tourists. Seriously. The only tourists we saw were the other three couples staying at the lodge. The food was fantastic and the staff was first rate and very kind and sweet. They definitely made the visit more memorable.

“Beautiful and relaxing”

We had a wonderful time at Fare Pea Iti. The warm hospitality, excellent food, and natural beauty made for a memorable stay. The bed was comfortable and the family managing it are lovely. We were even blessed to get a lovely drawing from Poehei, a charming young girl.
