Stayed at this hotel for two nights in a Superior Double Room which was a great price as a 'Strawberry Member'. The hotel is easy to find as it stands out! The lobby and reception is impressive! The reception staff were friendly and gave us lots of information. The room was on the 27th Floor, so we had great views (We also had the opportunity prior to our arrival to upgrade for a nominal fee). The location is great for exploring the city and it was also 'Swedish Day' so we had a street party with music and food which was a nice bonus. The room was a good size, the bed was comfy and the pillows were amazing! (you can actually buy them in reception!) Lots of products in the room which was nice. The bathroom had an amazing shower, also a hair dryer, ironing board and a mini bar. The breakfast had a huge range of fruit, cereals, meats, juices, omelette chef, cooked food, breads, etc. There is so much food, but the weekend was busy with people and you had to choose a time to sit. We didn't sit in the bar, but we did buy a bottle of wine to take up to our room (£67). All in all it was a lovely hotel, great decor, lovely staff and we would definitely stay here again.

Visited Gothenburg with a friend for a relaxing break. The hotel was just wonderful. From check in to check out, everything ran smoothly. Visited Gothenburg with a friend for a relaxing break. The hotel was just wonderful. From check in to check out, everything ran smoothly. Friendly and helpful staff, a beautifully decorated and well kept hotel, amazing choices at the buffet breakfast - we loved every minute of our stay. The room was clean, immaculate, had great products (shampoo, hand wash, shower gel and body lotion). My room was on the 8th floor and was on the corner of the building so I had a double aspect view across the city. There are a few lounge areas for you to relax in if you don’t fancy staying in your room, we got a drink from the bar near the lobby and relaxed in the main lounge with its quirky decor. We didn’t use the spa on this occasion, however I will use this hotel again when I come back to Gothenburg and will try it next time as it did look very good. Overall - I was really impressed with this hotel.

“Could easily have been a 5* star but...”

Like my title says, I would have loved to give our stay 5* however the biggest thing that let it down was the housekeeping. We stayed for 3 nights and our bed was never re-made/tidied, floor never hoovered, surfaces/mirrors never wiped. Apparently it was the hotel's new "green" policy which I wou… lisää

Like my title says, I would have loved to give our stay 5* however the biggest thing that let it down was the housekeeping. We stayed for 3 nights and our bed was never re-made/tidied, floor never hoovered, surfaces/mirrors never wiped. Apparently it was the hotel's new "green" policy which I would understand if it was about towel re-use however to not even make a bed is just pure laziness. Also the public toilets on the ground floor were shamefully dirty. We found the rooftop bar lacked any real atmosphere and the drinks were too expensive compared to other high-end establishments. Having said all that, we really enjoyed our stay. * Location is perfect for City exploring * Lovely friendly Reception staff * Breakfast variety and quality was great and although the actual breakfast room gets very busy it's very large and there's always somewhere to sit * Beds and pillows were so comfy and the views (if you have a high up room) were great.
