“High class hotel by the harbour”

Lovely hotel by the water. Full of light with comfortable rooms and an excellent buffet breakfast. Town centre 100 yards away but quiet inside the hotel. Parking on site and friendly staff. Decent Italian restaurant next door with outside seating.

Great service all round. Clean, spacious good quality rooms, good breakfast and service with a smile. Breakfast is included in the price and comes along with a complementary minibar with soft drinks and beer, including coffee and tea. Very comfortable beds. The only thing I missed in the room was an iron for a creased shirt (I didn't ask, but maybe they have one at reception). The dining area is spacious yet has a cosy feel. There is a terrace by the waterfront and although I didn't use them, there is a gym and sauna in the basement. Close to Emden centre, parking is free for guests (subject to availability) and there is disabled access throughout the hotel. Plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from within 10 minutes walk from the hotel The price seems quite high, but it is reasonable value for money, taking into account the high standard of service, and of course the complimentary breakfast, minibar and parking.

Hotel am Delft offered a truly excellent experience; more in fact than I would have expected in a fairly small town like Emden. The building itself is fairly new, and even the standard ("classic") rooms we had offered tremendous and spacious comfort including even a "fireplace" (with screen-simulated fire and optional heating) and a minibar that's included in the rate. Bathrooms, too, are very well equipped with rain showers and very nice amenities. Our rooms faced the Delft (the inner harbor) with very nice views. Emden's inner city with shops, museums etc. is perhaps a five minute walk from the hotel. Breakfast has great and high-quality choice including local fish delicacies ("Matjes"). Staff was always very friendly and helpful. Would definitely use again when coming to Emden, and highly recommend.

“Awesome hotel with a really amazing view”

I stayed only for one night, but I was really amazed by the place - the location and the view are terrific, it is in walking distance to the city center and the train station, the staff is very friendly, and the patio is a nice spot to end the day with a glass of wine.
