If you're coming off the Autobahn this place is easy to find, off the back roads, watch out for roadworks, road closures and impossible to follow diversions. Once there the Hotel was above what we expected considering the price we paid, the rooms were pleasant, clean & tidy, the staff were more than helpful at every level, the beer was cold and enjoyable (30 degs outside), the food in the restaurant was fine dining with a twist. Motorcycle parking wasn't a problem either. The only thing we noticed whilst there, someone has a fascination for apples & pears/peaches? They are literally everywhere. Would we go back, Yes without a doubt when in the area. So see you in 2023.

“Very fine place to rest and eat”

A stop-over for one Night - the room was fine, a little small but like everywhere else in Germany it was clean and nice. The staff was very kind and the food perfect - so we would like to recommend this place.

This is a small Hotel Restaurant not far from the Auto-route where we had a very pleasant and comfortable overnight stop en route to Denmark. The bedrooms are modern and comfortable, the staff welcoming and the meal in the restaurant was exceptional. The building dates back to the 1800's and has been sympathetically modernised while retaining much of the atmosphere of an inn. The night we were there was cold and damp but the restaurant was very busy with happy diners, who appeared to be mainly local, and all the meals looked delicious. We were delighted with our choices and the servings are very generous. The situation is quiet and semi-rural, with many walking and cycle trails through woods accessible from the hotel. I can thoroughly recommend this hotel; even though we speak little German all the staff made a great effort to make us welcome.

First the positive things: Nice room, where we were lucky to get one which was not located towards the main road (quite a lot of traffic there). Quite big and recently modernized. Comfortable beds. The restaurant serves very nice food for dinner (grilled specialities and schnitzels with a twist), so a dinner here is strongly recommended. Much better than German food in average. Breakfast was average. Negative things: Shower was very very slippery, and also constructed so you had to take a relative high/deep step into the shower. Nothing to hold on to. Not recommendable for people with hip/knee problems etc. as you can easily fall. I will still give it a 4 star because it is cheap and provides fine "value for the money"
