“A good place to spend holidays”

The hotel is located close to the station - you can walk with a suitcase in 15 minutes (although upward). The building is very beautiful and the interior is cozy. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, although not everyone speaks English. Bathroom was spacious. There are elevators, including separate elevators to the pool. Swimming pool and sauna are on the -1st floor inside. The breakfast menu is monotonous, but very generous in scope. For example, they serve a whole pot of coffee, not a cup. Special thanks for organizing the guests to watch the final of the European Football Championship on the big screen.

“Disappointed in the Black Forrest”

Nestled in the Black Forrest this tidy hotel is well kept with friendly staff. My room was clean and appeared well kept. The back door went out to a common balcony with a view into the trees. The buffet dinner was very good, and the beers flowed with some consistency. Europe is in the middle of a massive heat wave and I was a little disappointed there was no air conditioning or a small refrigerator available. As well as no screens on the windows. It’s 85 degrees at 9:30 pm, not sure if I am going to get any sleep tonight as I have an early start tomorrow. I tried to clear my bar tab and was to go to the reception desk. There I was told it was impossible, and I needed to go to the restaurant. They want to charge you room for any additional expenses and you can pay when you check out. I’m leaving early, why can’t I clear this now? You need to make this possible, I can only think management doesn’t trust the staff.

“Comfortable beds”

Our first impression of the hotel was not great as there was no parking avaliable and the receptionist had no tips as to where we could park our car. We found a leaflet in our room saying there was free parking at a nearby church, however this parking place was clearly labelled visitors only. The r… lisää

Our first impression of the hotel was not great as there was no parking avaliable and the receptionist had no tips as to where we could park our car. We found a leaflet in our room saying there was free parking at a nearby church, however this parking place was clearly labelled visitors only. The room was of poor standard with stained carpet and the water in the shower was either way too cold or way too hot. However, the bed was comfortable with soft pillows and we got a good nights sleep. The wellness area was lovely and the pool spaceous and perfectly tempered. Breakfast buffet was good as well and there is a very nice outdoor dining area.

“Not for large tour groups”

Very poor for accommodating Senior American tour groups. Check-in was a nightmare with 40 people coming off a bus, no portage available, elevator could only handle 2 people and their luggage at a time. No one to explain how the floors &rooms were numbered or how the buffet lines worked. Regular… lisää

Very poor for accommodating Senior American tour groups. Check-in was a nightmare with 40 people coming off a bus, no portage available, elevator could only handle 2 people and their luggage at a time. No one to explain how the floors &rooms were numbered or how the buffet lines worked. Regular clients were aggravated at rude Americans who were desperately trying to figure out the system with no one giving guidance. Rooms were clean, food was good,
