Nicely renovated hotel. We had a great comfortable room. The bathroom was nicely done, looked spic & span. The room comes with a nice terrace overseeing the hill with Schlossgut Rodeck behind the hotel. Nicely renovated hotel. We had a great comfortable room. The bathroom was nicely done, looked spic & span. The room comes with a nice terrace overseeing the hill with Schlossgut Rodeck behind the hotel. Indeed the church with the ubiquitous church bells are behind the hotel and yes you may hear them but did not bother me at all. Breakfast is good, real Germanic, fresh bread and good meat and cheese. Price quality a real winner.

“Great overnight stay”

This Prinzen is a lovely family run hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the rooms were very spacious and clean. We stayed on the top floor and were really happy with the bathroom and heating in winter. The breakfast was excellent with a lot of choice and the location of the hotel is… lisää

This Prinzen is a lovely family run hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the rooms were very spacious and clean. We stayed on the top floor and were really happy with the bathroom and heating in winter. The breakfast was excellent with a lot of choice and the location of the hotel is very central. Great restaurants around the area all within walking distance.

“Excellent for an overnight”

This hotel made an excellent one night stopover from/to Baden-Baden Airport and the Black Forest and Lake of Constance. Very pleasant staff/owners (as I usually experience in Germany), a nice large room with an outside sitting area, and a perfectly acceptable breakfast. The photos are misleading,… lisää

This hotel made an excellent one night stopover from/to Baden-Baden Airport and the Black Forest and Lake of Constance. Very pleasant staff/owners (as I usually experience in Germany), a nice large room with an outside sitting area, and a perfectly acceptable breakfast. The photos are misleading, as the Prinzen now seems to be a hotel garni (bed and breakfast). No problem with that. It just means eating elsewhere. I found Kappelrodeck to be rather dreary (fine for one night, but not more); nearby Sasbachwalden seemed to have much more of a buzz. One warning - very loud church clock striking every 15 minutes through the night. Not a problem for me, but if it might be for you ........... eliensis

“Very nice and comfortable ”

The hotel is cosy, very clean and the host really friendly. Our room had a terrace with nice view. Breakfast is rich and we particularly appreciated that also healthy food was offered like fruit, yoghurt or freshly boiled eggs. We slept really well until the church bells started playing at 6:30 am… lisää

The hotel is cosy, very clean and the host really friendly. Our room had a terrace with nice view. Breakfast is rich and we particularly appreciated that also healthy food was offered like fruit, yoghurt or freshly boiled eggs. We slept really well until the church bells started playing at 6:30 am, which we felt lasted about half an hour . Maybe the priest forgot that time was changing to winter time that very Sunday. The place is not far from the highway though in a really nice area.

“A good stopover on the way”

A small countryside hotel providing a decent overnight stay. Easy accessible from the motorway. The beds are comfortable and clean, nice new bathroom but stains on walls and not very clean carpets (old). The breakfest is good and charged extra. Parking on site.
