Really nice experience. We were driving towards Italy and wanted “something” special and a nice break from the highway. Very positive! Breakfast really good. Dog friendly…. Also surroundings. A big forrest just behind the hotel. We will put it on the list for: try again next. time relevant. Only surprise: dogs cost 25 Euro

“Misleading Booking Site and Poor Management”

Parkhotel Jordanbad used to be much better. My wife and I have visited the Parkhotel and Spa at least once a year, for the last 16 years. Service used to be friendly and professional and it seemed to have good management. Unfortunately, our experience in January was very disappointing. I had booked a room with "King Size Bed" on the hotel's website. At check-in, the rather unfriendly receptionist claimed that I had reserved a room with a much smaller "French Bed". I showed her my reservation confirmation which on top of the page stated "Queen Size" Bed and next to the quoted price "King Size" bed for the room I had booked. The reception desk staff was unable and unwilling to accept the price of my reservation confirmation. The management staff was not present and unavailable by phone for the next 2 days. Are they misleading their guests on purpose, so that they can charge a higher price? I requested to stay in a room with a Queen size bed, but was forced to pay a higher price than quoted on my booking. The hotel apparently does not accept the conditions of their own booking site. The owner, Thomas Lerch would not return my phone calls or e-mail. Judging from our experience, the manager has reception staff on the premises which has no decision making authority and does not care about this frequent guest. We had a rather unpleasant stay which totally goes against the "Wellness" philosophy of the Parkhotel Jordanbad.

This place seems unsure of what it wants to be. Set in a vast park with thermal bath facilities it could easily be a luxury country retreat. But the single pillow, thin duvet, military mattress, extra charge for bathroom slippers and single staff member managing busy bar, reception and food after 10pm collectively offer a hostel experience.

“3 star hotel with a great spa”

This hotel complex is really beautiful. I was surprised how large it was and the extensive spa and fitness center there. If it weren’t for these amenities, I do believe this would be a 3 star hotel. This hotel complex is really beautiful. I was surprised how large it was and the extensive spa and fitness center there. If it weren’t for these amenities, I do believe this would be a 3 star hotel. The room was minimalistic but adequate. Typically a 4 star hotel will have nice soaps, lotion, etc where this hotel had watered-down combined shampoo/body wash that you might find in lower quality hotels. It was really uncomfortable at night due to the heat and lack of AC but this is typical for Germany and not out of the ordinary. The bed was the smallest bed I’ve ever slept in. I wish I got to use the fitness center but the hours are peak work hours and closed at 1pm on Sunday. A nice hotel in Biberach but a few simple improvements could go a long way.
