“Great Hotel, Perfect Location”

I travel to this area regularly for business and I always try and book the Rose Hotel. The rooms are varied, some small and basic, and some larger, there are even entire apartments within the hotel. I travel to this area regularly for business and I always try and book the Rose Hotel. The rooms are varied, some small and basic, and some larger, there are even entire apartments within the hotel. Each room is perfectly equipped with TV, fridge, safe, hairdryer etc. Ground floor rooms have recently been redecorated and look great. Breakfast is very good, a wide choice of hot and cold options. Food in the restaurant is extremely good, a good choice of wines are also available. No clothes iron in rooms, but if you ask at reception they will lend you one. There is secure parking (daily charge) at an underground parking lot, this also has one electric charging point for hotel guests. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Only criticism would be, during summer humid nights, the rooms can be too hot as there is not air conditioning. Overall, a great hotel in the heart of town, close to all amenities.

The room was ok, although quite hot for the time of year (and of course - no aircon!). The breakfast was ok - nothing to get excited about. The bed was very comfortable, although the duvet provided way too hot. The location is really good - just a few steps away from the old town. The staff was no… lisää

The bed was very comfortable, although the duvet provided way too hot. The location is really good - just a few steps away from the old town. The staff was not really friendly or welcoming, but I did not have enough interaction with them to say if they are always like that. The check-out process took crazy long and resulted in me being late for my meeting. The room was very hot so I had to sleep with a window open. This resulted in a sworm of bugs coming into the room, and the vehicles that drove past the street below was surprisingly loud so I did not sleep very well.

This hotel in the historic old town is within easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. Our room was comfortable, but very average. This hotel in the historic old town is within easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. Our room was comfortable, but very average. It appeared to us that the hotel promotes itself on the basis of the “stars” that the restaurant has earned. With that fact in mind, we expected at least the same quality of buffet breakfast that any other German hotel serves every morning. Instead, what we were served was a pathetic excuse for breakfast, for which there was an additional charge. I could go on about the the over-cooked and brown scrambled eggs or the shriveled up and dried out sausages, but I’ll just post a picture showing the image of breakfast in the hotel’s brochure and the actual breakfast spread. It’s highly unlikely that we’ll stay here again on future trips to Bietigheim-Bissingen.

“Ok”

First time on a water bed. Hotel tired and rooms shabby. Toilet roll wasnt replenished causing a little embarrassment. Friendly staff. Breakfast was ok, couldnt get the juice machine to work. Parking available but not cheap.
