I am a "professional traveller" and this is my standard place to stay when I am in Walldorf. Why? First, very warm and friendly staff, absolutely competent. Whatever you desire, they will make it work, if possible. Second, very nice and well equipped rooms, the comfort rooms - only a small extra price - are hillarious. If you love to have a salsa dance training in there - no problem... Extremely spacious... Third, a really creative breakfast buffet, changes every day a little bit. Last, but not least, nice, clean and very comfortable wellness area. I really love this place and can highly recommend it...

“Nice hotel at the heart of walldorf”

Very nicely located. Decent rooms with good space for luggage. Their recreational room is good. Overall a nice stay for business. Very nice spread for breakfast as well. I will repeat my stay here when I come back to Waldorf.

the standard rooms are slightly small so upgrade to the comfort room as those are a lot spacier. Breakfast is good the only downside was that there was no cleaning for 3 days as the hotel is very low on staff due to corona. parking can be an issue when the hotel is full

Ever since our first stay in 2015, we book the Ambiente every year whilst we attend the NitrOlympX event at Hockenheimring. Over the years, we have got to know staff and find all of them friendly and welcoming. The Ambiente is tucked away in a side street and we love it because it it so quiet and peaceful. There is plenty of parking and even though we need more room for our van, we always manage to find a space. The small hot tub and sauna is rarely used and in all our years, we have been the only ones using it. It is open during set hours but the staff will open it if you request. Breakfast is good with both hot and cold buffet, pastries, fruit and cereal. The bar is usually quiet but you can get served outside if you want to have a beer al fresco. The restaurant is usually closed during our trip as the nearby SAP building is the main clientele and during the off season, the Meet & Greet restaurant isn't available. This never poses us any problems as Walldorf has numerous restaurants all within walking distance and we have tried most of them over the years. Walldorf is a quintessential German town and is beautiful to walk around. The Ambiente is a 15 minute car drive to Hockenheimring so is ideal for anyone visiting the track. The rooms at the Ambiente are clean and comfortable. If you choose to pay extra for a suite, it is well worth the money as the rooms are massive. As a small family run hotel, you will find a service and personal approach to your stay that you would not find in a large chain of hotel. It may not suit everyone but we wouldn't stay anywhere else for our annual visit.
